FIFTEEN

"Mommy, mommy, do you think I look good enough?" Jayson asked, looking in the mirror
"Yes sweetie, you've asked me that question about 5 times now"Summer answered feeling exasperated.
"Mom, I thought black was for funerals"Jayson asked again
"Yes honey, it's a funeral for your grandfather and we are going"Summer replied.
"Yeah, just that I never met him so I don't know what he wants me to wear"Jayson said looking sad.
"Oh baby, I'm sorry. I don't know how to make it up to you but forgive me. My sisters will be there, you can meet them and they would love you"Summer answered hopefully.
"You said you were born on the same day, all four of you?"Jayson asked
"Yes baby, all four of us, same day by the same mother"She replied smiling
"Woah, that's so cool, how did your mommy do it? I want to meet her, she must be cool"he was really excited.
She didn't know what tickled his fancy but again she could never understand what interested children of this generation.
"I didn't meet my mommy Jayson,she died after having us"Summer replied and wiped a fake tear from her eyes hoping Jayson would stop with all the questions.
"I'm sorry mommy, I didn't mean to make you cry, I promise I won't talk about it again"Jayson said wiping the tears he couldn't see from his mom's eyes.
Jayson hugged her son so tight, he was so adorable, she loved her baby so much.
"Ma'am, the driver is here already" Shirley said
"Okay Jayson let's go, we have a burial to attend. Shirley do you have the tickets?"Summer asked.
"Yes ma'am, I have them"Shirley answered.

The funeral had just finished, she was leaving the cathedral in search of Jayson when she saw the doctor from the hospital, Mr Blakeman. She called trying to get his attention
He turned and started walking towards her direction "I've been looking for you all day"
"I'm sorry, you know it's a Funeral but I'm here now"she answered rather flirtingly.
He just smiled and asked "where is your sister?"
"My sisters you mean? I have 3 other sisters"
"Okay, seems they are coming our way already" He said.
"Hey,I know you" Winter said
"Yes, I helped you at the mall" he replied
"Yes, yes, thank you again. I'm really grateful"Winter said
"Let me guess she left her phone at home and her card had expired"Autumn said
Mr Blakeman nodded and replied"Exactly that's what happened"
"Typical Winter, thank you though"Spring said
"Yes, thank you for helping her" Summer replied.
Winter just rolled her eyes.
Jayson was looking for his mom, Shirley had to use the restroom, Jayson ran into someone's leg and lifted his face up, the person did look like him, they had the same hair color, the same nose, the violet eyes. Jayson ran away to go tell mommy he found someone that looked just like him.
"Mommy, Mommy"Jayson kept shouting as he searched everywhere for his mommy,when he saw her he screamed
"Mommy!!"
Summer didn't know when she even replied "Yes Jayson, what did I say about using the inside voice when outside?"Summer asked.
"I'm sorry mommy, it's just that I saw a man who looked exactly like me and I wanted you to be the first person to know"Jayson replied quietly.
"Jayson, where did you see this man?"Summer asked, hoping it wasn't the man she had in mind.
"Over there Mommy, that's him coming" he answered pointing towards him.
Everyone turned to look at the man coming and it was their Father's lawyer Mr DelGrande
Winter was the first to speak "oh yeah, he sure does look like you honey"
"Agreed, you are just the cuter version"Autumn said
"That I agree on, the cuter and better version" Spring chiped in.
Summer just remembered they were in front of all her siblings, she was going to tell them but not here and definitely not now. She decided when they had all retired for the night and everyone was home she would talk about her son.
"Is he mine?"Mr DelGrande asked
"I'm hoping that's a rhetorical question"Winter butted in
"Honestly because you're a lawyer, I don't expect you to be that dumb" Spring was starting to flare up
"Guys, calm down he just found out he had a son after.."Autumn stopped and asked Jayson,"How old are you little man?
"I'm four"Jayson answered proudly
"Thank you love, so yes, he just found out he had a son after 4 years, so give him a break. You know what screw that we all just found out that Summer has a kid after 4 years on our Father's Funeral, we all deserve a break"Autumn replied maintaining eye contact with Summer.
"Yes and a drink with that...so whose up for a drink?" Spring asked.
They all raised their hands and were about going when the lawyer spoke again.
"Before you go drinking,I think you all need to hear me out" Mr DelGrande said
"Erm, actually the person that needs to hear you out is your son, I think you should go speak to him"Autumn replied
"It's not about me, it's about you all. Can we move to the house please?"Mr DelGrande asked politely.
They all began to move towards the house when Spring asked "is he going with us today?"
"Yes he is, now please can we all quietly enter the house"Mr DelGrande stated.
They all entered the house with Summer holding Jayson's hand "woww, it's so beautiful, Mommy is this where you grew up with your sisters?"Jayson asked
"Yup, this is where we grew up. Welcome to our humble abode"Spring answered
"Mommy said you all were born on the same day by the same mom, how cool is that?"Jayson asked again
"I don't know how cool that is Jay but yeah we were all born on the same day"Winter answered.
"So whose the first and the second and the third and the last?"Jayson asked
"Well, your mom is the first; you see the one with blonde hair that's the second,her name is Spring; the one wearing the gown she's the third and her name is Winter and I'm the last you can call me Autumn"Autumn patiently explained.
"Wow, my mom is the first. I'm so proud of you mommy and I love all of you"Jayson said.
"We love you too and maybe you will be our peace "Winter replied but said the last part under her breath.
"Okay, let's all be seated"Mr DelGrande said.
He opened his briefcase and brought out two envelopes.
