Summer was sitting on her dining table drinking coffee, she needed it, today was very exhausting. Her mind went back to the encounter at Connor's office, he didn't want them seeing him when his secretary told him they were downstairs but Winter threatened the girl and she let them into the office.
They were trying to find out why he ran away and didn't stay for the test, he used the excuse of being busy, Spring and Winter were trying to persuade him to come but he was having none of it. It was at this point Autumn dragged some of his hair off and they burst out laughing, everyone found it funny except him, they left after that, came home and Winter and Autumn took Jayson out.
Her phone rang and brought her back to the present, it was an international call. Her heart was beating fast already she'd been expecting this call for the last 3 months and it was finally here, she mustered up courage, picked the call and walked to the window.
"Good afternoon Miss Whiltemore"came the Nigerian Accent from the other line
"Good afternoon ma"Summer replied
"I am Mrs Ojirika, the Chief Medical Director Of Enugu Teaching Hospital. Congratulations Miss Whiltemore you got the Job. When can you start?"Mrs Ojirika asked
"I can start after this school year, I don't want to move my son to Nigeria in the middle of a school year, so I would start in November"Summer responded
"Thank you, we can't wait to have you, please do send us an email if you need anything"Mrs Ojirika said.
"Yes ma, thank you ma"Summer replied and the call ended.
Summer turned from the window and met Spring behind her.
"How long have you been standing here?"Summer asked
"Since you picked your call. I'm not going to tell them"Spring replied
"How am I supposed to believe you, for all I know when Winter gets back you would tell her everything"Summer said.
"I promise you, I'm not telling anyone till you are ready to. I think you should consider Jayson, he wouldn't like the idea of moving to a different continent after finding out he has other family besides you. Also Mr DelGrande would never let you, but then I'm just saying"Spring replied and walked to the dining table to drink Summer's coffee which she spat out almost immediately.
"What were you thinking?"Summer mocked
"That you just made it"Spring replied
Summer laughed, apologized to her and went into the sitting room to watch television.
Holiday Rush was showing, Spring kept talking
"Omg, how are they so cute..."Spring said
"They are babies Spring, it's normal"Summer replied
"So Jayson was this cute?"Spring asked
"Maybe cuter"Summer replied
"I can't believe you kept him away from us"Spring said
"I can't believe you are acting like you don't know why"Summer answered
Spring mellowed
"I'm sorry Summer, honestly for everything. Nothing was actually worth it and I'm really sorry."Spring apologized
"It's okay.. I forgive you, we are sisters there is no way I would hate you,I would really like it if we put this behind us and be real siblings this time"Summer responded.
"Yes, yes I would want that"Spring said and stood up to hug Summer.
"...Oh and you can check them on IG@andreaselenatwins, if you also wanna check out the older actors@deyshanel and .amarr. I need to call Autumn and find out when they are returning it's getting late"Summer said and left the sitting room.
"Thank you. It's just 6 tho, no need to rush them home"Spring yelled because Summer was out of the sitting room already.
Summer went to her room and dialed Autumn's number but she wasn't picking up, it kept ringing but she still wasn't picking so Summer called Winter's phone and she picked on one ring.
"He's fine Summer, Autumn took him to get Icecream,we would soon be home"Winter said immediately she picked the call.
"Oh, I've been calling Autumn but she wasn't picking so I got bothered. Thank you"Summer answered
"Yeah, her phone is probably on silent mode or something. They are here already"Winter informed Summer
"Okay, I will see you all Soon. Please do get pizza for dinner on your way home".Summer replied
"Yes ma, see you in an hour's time"Winter said ending the call.
"Who was that?"Autumn asked
"It was Summer, she's been calling you non-stop"Winter answered
"Oh shit! My phone is on silent. She wasn't angry, was she?" Autumn asked
"Angry? She was more of worried, probably thinks I had kidnapped her child"Winter answered looking a bit sad.
"Ha, that's funny, I think you are just exaggerating"Autumn replied
"It's just like she doesn't trust me"Winter complained
"Well you can't blame her, no one would trust someone that watched her sister being bullied and never said anything"Autumn said.
" That was harsh but yeah maybe you're right. About that, I'm sorry Autumn, I just couldn't get myself involved because I didn't want to get bullied too"Winter explained
"Yes, yes I know.. Just give Summer time she would come around"Autumn said
"Yeah I know, I just envy your relationship, it's so peaceful" Winter said.
"Yeah, because we see each other as sisters not rivals, you should try it too, you'll love it"Autumn replied as she brought out her card to pay.
"Summer wants us buying Pizza for dinner. I don't think she has energy to cook tonight"Winter said.
"Okay, we would just have a quick stop at Domino's"Autumn said as they entered the car.
They got home at past 8 and met Summer pacing round the parlour with Spring trying to calm her down.
"Mommy, Mommy"Jayson ran to her and Summer hugged him so tight and looked up at her sisters Giving them the we-would-talk-later kind of look.
"Hey baby, how are you? Did you have fun? Are you tired?"Summer just kept bombarding him with questions
"Calm down Summer, one question at a time, he's fine"Spring said
"I'm fine mommy, I had so much fun. Aunt Autumn bought Icecream for me, then we went to Domino's and then we went to the park"Jayson replied so excited.
"Okay sweetheart,your auntie's spoilt you a lot, I'm so glad you had fun, now let's go and shower okay"Spring said and took Jayson upstairs.
"I'm listening" Summer said
"We are sorry, we got caught up in the moment and forgot the time"Winter apologized for both of them
"Honestly we are, it wouldn't happen again"Autumn said
"Damn right it wouldn't, I'm reconsidering him going to stay with you"Summer said
"Are you serious?"Autumn asked
"Well, was I laughing"Summer replied
"Jesus, Summer loosen up, we would never have let anything happen to him, even if you don't trust me which is understandable you should trust Autumn"Winter said and turned to walk away,Summer held her hand and said"I do trust you Winter,I do"
When Winter left,Summer apologized to Autumn and hugged her.
"You should go freshen up before the pizza gets cold.
Everyone came down 30mims later, Spring took the Pizza to the sitting room, they all ate it while watching a movie on Netflix . After dinner, Winter checked her bag for her letter and turned the back and read the complete letter
"Stop competing, Summer is the best only because you are always competing.
Stop competing and you would be better."
Winter folded the letter and dropped on the table. Tomorrow was going to be a long day and she was ready for it.
We are at the end of this book already🎉🎉🎉😢😢.
