I Fell In Love With My Best Friend

Chapter Twelve

I arrived at the hospital. The dark gloomy clouds mocking my emotions. I opened the car door,and headed to the hospital double doors I saw once before.

"May I help you?" The lady asked in a too peppy tone.

"Yes, do you know what room Travis Concord is in?" I asked. She typed away on her computer.

"Yes, he is in the ICU care center located on the fifth floor room 317," she said.

"Thanks," I added heading to the nearest elevator.

I rode all the way to the fifth floor. I stepped out as the doors moved back. I stepped out to find myself right in the middle of the ICU care center. Here I was. I searched everywhere for room 317. Soon enough I found it, at the end of the corridor. I knocked on the door. A voice from inside the room said come in. I opened the door to see the blank peach colored walls. The plastic bed sheets,and the steady beat of the monitor. He was silent unmoving on the bed. H!s pale skin was paler compared to how he was always had perfect tab skin. Now he was as pale as a vampire. I saw a little flicker in his eyelids.

"He is a bit tired from the chemo this morning," his mom said from the opposite side of his bed. Then I saw his eyelids slowly open. When they did I saw them fall on me.

"Ad-dison?" His voice croaked not of anger,but kindness.

"Yes,it's me.." I said smiling coming closer to him.

"You know?"

"Yes... You don't have to keep it a secret anymore.." I said.

"I left to keep the secret, a secret.." He said his voice trailing off.

"Hey you don't care if your sick or anything. I love you because of who you are not how sick you are even if you are dying I will love you forever," I said leaning in,and kissing him full on his full lips.

I wanted to remeber this moment, cause it could be our last.

"I love you... Endlessly.." He whispered through chapped lips. That night was a night I could not forget, I earned his love back. I was going to be with him the whole step of the way. To help kick cancers butt.
