Maureen's POV

"Manong, sa Pacifio Illdes."

I tell the taxi driver na nasakyan ko sa tapat ng mall na iyon.

Nagpaalam na din ako kay Joahnna at naexplain ko naman sa kanya ng maayos ang biglaang lakad kong ito.

I honestly don't know why Bianca wants to meet me. It's just hours since I saw her with my brother! I can't think of reason for her to meet me.

Ilang minuto pa ang tinagal, nakarating narin ang taxi na sinasakyan ko sa isang resto malapit sa beach. No wonder Pacifio ang pangalan ng resto na ito.

Bumaba ako sa taxi at pumasok na sa loob. Classy ang theme ng resto, at fine-dinning din ang quality.

Napatingin naman ako sa suot ko, naka student uniform pa ako. Hindi bagay ang suot ko para dito, kaya meydo nag-alangan akong tumuloy.

"Miss, do you have any reservation?" Salubong sa akin ng lalaking naka-uniform. I was about to say no when another man approached us with the same uniform.

"Ms. Silvestre? This way. You have a reservation at the VIP Section."
I saw his nameplate on the right side of his uniform and it says 'manager'.

Nakangiting nakatingin ito sa akin at tinuturo ang daan. Medyo nagulat ako dahil kilala niya ako.

Ngumiti nalang ako at sinundan ang manager papunta sa sinasabi nitong VIP Section.

Inaasahan ko rin na ganito ang mangyayari. Dahil mukhang hindi nakikipagkita ang mga Choi sa isang lugar ng walang reservation. Isa sa mga inisip ko kanina kaya napapayag akong makipagkita kay Bianca.

The manager took me to a classy fine-dinning veranda. And my eyes were left in owe.

I can see the dramatic sunset in the ocean from this private table for two! This place was indeed immaculate.

And I think it's way too formal for me and Bianca to be like this. I mean we're not that close. We've even met for weeks. Then, this? Unbelievable!

"Maureen!"

I heard Bianca cheerfully called me. She happily stood up to welcome me. I am not used with her cheerful vibes, malayo ang aura niya ngayon sa pinakita niya noong pinuntahan niya ako sa school.

Mas lalo pa akong nagulat nang yakapin ako niya ako. "I owe you a lot Maureen! Thank you very much!"

Naguluhan ako, thank you? Para saan? Dahil pumayag akong makipagkita?

Kumalas siya sa pagkakayakap. She turned to me smiling. "Me and Sebastian are... together again!"
Niyakap niya ulit ako. She seems so happy that I couldn't feel the same. It's just that... I can't.

"Thank you so much for your help, Maureen!"

I tried my very best to smile and to looked at least happy for her. She's thanking me for getting back together with my brother when in fact, I didn't do anything... All I did was... A big mistake.

"By the way, I'd like to congratulate you and Darren! Kayo na pala! You didn't tell me! But at least, there's something to celebrate! Cheers for a double celebration!"

I tried my best to look attentive and interested in any of her talks when in fact my mind is nowhere near her topic.

The physical pain in my chest is just unbearable. Her happiness didn't even equalled my emptiness.
