8 - Prom night

Jared's POV-

I haven't seen Celia since this morning, after we went to have breakfast she banned my from seeing her until tonight saying I have to wait to see her in her full transformation. Marcus was showering in my bathroom while I was having my mom trim up my hair a bit. Marcus came out dressed in a pair of sweats saying that we had 2 hours and he couldn't have wrinkles. I took a shower and did the same thing knowing he was right. My room smelled like a hollister store.

"Im so nervous" Marcus pointed out from the bathroom as he shaved his stubble from his jaw, I went mine knowing Celia liked it and honestly so did I.

"Dude shes going to say yes don't worry about it I made sure Ryder would be there with the flowers and candy" I try to tell him but hes in freak out mood luckily he finished shaving before now.

"Breathheeee" he told himself before continuing, "Dude I don't know whats wrong with me I literally only talked to Mary to get in he pants and now she has me wrapped around her finger I swear I would die for her" He says making me laugh, I didn't even know he was capable of this much emotion.

"Dude you'll be great."

It had been about an hour and thirty minutes before we got dressed. My mom had to tie Marcus' tie since he was shaking so bad and I helped him tame his hair a bit where it looking flowy but still contained. I fixed my hair and brushed my teeth. Marcus' brushed his also before picking up a gray tie, I knew what Mary's dress looked like since she was so proud she had showed me and I know they were going to look great together tonight. I grab the corsage I bought for Celia and walked downstairs with Marcus letting mom and well mom take a few pictures before we went across the street to Celia's house.

Celia's parents made us both turn away from their house at the end of the lawn while the girls stepped onto the porch like one of those 'first look' things, so when we were told to turn around our parents were recording it. I couldn't even pay attention to Marcus when I turned around. I looked up at her and let out a 'woah'. I walked towards her holding her hand as she stepped down the stairs.

"You look gorgeous Celia Gregg" I say and she blushes looking to the ground. I put my hand under her chin slowly making her look up at me before I kiss her. We pull away when we hear a click of a camera and realizes we have an audience. I chuckle and give her, her corsage putting it on her wrist before she pins mine to my tux.

Time for the big question. We got to the dance after our photoshoot using the limo Marcus and I rented for the night. It took us to this really fancy hotel where our school paid to have our prom. Celia and I got out of the car first and waited for Mary and Marcus. Ryder was there holding the items for Marcus and when he steps out he hands them to Marcus before stepping away. Mary looks at him with a weird look before he asks the big question.

We go inside and take a photo for the school before going to the ballroom seeing all the lights and decorations and Im honestly at awe. After dancing for an hour we all needed a break and apparently the admins thought so to because there then announced that they were going to announce prom king and queen and to cast our votes. After a few minutes counting the last minute votes them came back with two crowns for the king and queen.

"We have the votes and up first your prom king please step onto the stage Mr. Jared Parks" they announce and clapping erupts, I smile and kiss Celia who is smiling up at me before going to the stage.

"Up next your prom queen please step onto stage Miss Celia Gregg" more claps erupt and she steps onto the stage smiling as they place the crown on her head.

"This is bullshit!" Someone yells and I soon realize its Sara, "Thats my crown shes only a sophomore she shouldn't be here" she adds before walking onto stage tearing the crown from Celia's hair placing it on her own head.

"What the hell Sara they voted its her crown" I say looking at everyone in the crowd who has now fallin silent.

"Shut up you two timing dirtbag stop trying to stand up for your slutty girlfriend" Sara spits before Celia speaks up this is like a teenage drama movie.

"Sara shut the hell up you've slept with most our highschools population in the first year of highschool. You slept with three different people at different times on the same day" Celias states and I shrug I mean its true then she continues stepping towards Sara with her words now "You are literally the sluttiest person in this building and you go before I punch your teeth in" Not gonna lie kinda hot- anywayyyys

"You won't do shit Celia you-" before she can continue Celia punches her straight in the mouth I swear you could hear the crack out her tooth come out because soon shes holding her mouth crying.

Prom ends early due to the fight but other than that tonight was great. I mean Celia's suspended for a week and Sara has to get her tooth fixed but hey its cool. Marcus takes the limo with Mary to her house. I had Marcus come with me to drop off my truck this morning before driving me back home. We got to my truck and I drove us home. We decided to stay in the tree house tonight and let me tell you watching Celia climb a ladder in a prom dress is the funniest thing in the world. After we both get up there we look at each other for a second

"That was Amazing" She says and I look at her. Remembering every second of the past hour, how get skin felt against mind and how our bodies moved together.

"yes it was" I say kissing her again before pulling her into a cuddling position us both falling asleep soon after.
