20 - Milkshake

Marcus' POV-

      I swear I would marry this girl in front of me she's so amazing, I want her to have my children. I smile at Mary who is standing between my legs while I'm sitting on the counter. She turns around and starts making a protein shake.

"So where we goin' after breakfast gorgeous"I ask

"What about a hike? Celia and Andre need to hang out with me before they go to Mexico." She says and I look at her.

"Mexico?" I question

"Oh yea Andre is taking Celia to Mexico for the summer they are leaving in 2 weeks" She says giving me a protein shake making one for herself.

"Sweet so hiking it is." I smile and hop off the counter to go shower and change. I stepped into the shower and was in their for a few minutes before Mary came into the bathroom.

"Mind if I join" She asked and stepped into the shower with me

      After 30 minutes we got out and she got dressed in a pair of yoga pants and a sports bra before running downstairs to get the cinnamon rolls that were still in the oven, perfect timing on her part. I got dressed in a pair of basketball shorts and a t-shirt with the sides cut out. I put on my tennis shoes and grabbed Mary's shoes from her closet bringing them downstairs.

      We ate the cinnamon rolls putting two in a bowl for Celia and her boyfriend. I put a lid on the bowl they helped Mary get the water bottles and snacks while she called them. Of course they agreed and said they'd meet us on the trail in 10 minutes. We got to the trail with our backpacks and started on our hiking journey.

"So Marcus how long are you here?" Andre asked me holding Celia's had as we walked.

"Until Tuesday, coach's wife went into labor so he gave us until then off and since I'm actually doing ok in my classes I figured I could miss a few days." I explain with a shrug. "And I wanted to see my best friends other than Jared, living with him can be boring sometimes other than when Cass comes over."

"Who's Cass" Celia asks looking over at me

"She's actually really sweet. Jared met her at a party a few weeks ago. Their just friends right now though."

"Oh cool" She says and bits her lip.

      After a few hours we were all tired and needed some dinner so we went to a restaurant in the city. We all went home and changed before we went though. We all met at the restaurant and ate diner before deciding to go to a private cove the core four found a few years ago. 

"I miss the sun" Mary said laying on the sand soaking in the sun.

"Dude we live in Louisiana" Andre laughed smashing Celia with an ass load of water.

"Shut up Andre you play a shit ton of sports and are outside all the time" Mary laughs and takes a volleyball out of her bag tossing it to him

"We gonna do this right now?" he asks and she nods pulling me to her side of the net Andre and Celia on the other.

      We lost...... I can't say i'm not sulking either. Volleyball just isn't my game sand or regular. Andre didn't gloat though, thank god. 

Mary's POV-

      I didn't want Marcus to leave, I feel like when the boys visit it's harder to be without them. I couldn't wait to move in with the boys after we graduate. I woke up in the arms of my amazing boyfriend once again and I wasn't ready to get up. I finally convinced myself to get up since Jelly bean had to be fed. Snakes don't need food often for a smaller snake maybe once every week with smaller prey so they have time digest everything. For larger snakes, bigger prey around 2 weeks between each meal. Jelly Bean was shedding around this time though so it wasn't the best idea to handle him.
