Jared's POV-
Celia just stood up and went to the elevator sneaking me another glance and I knew something was up. I thought about not following her but I had to, something was pulling me towards her and I couldn't help myself. I stood up and got to the elevator pressing the button knowing she had already gotten off since it got up to the floor so fast. I got outside and heard her talking to someone and seemed to be deep in conversation and even though I wasn't out here for long I knew it was about me as she told the person on the other line how I still make her skin lit up when I was around her and how I made her feel. I smiled to myself knowing I had that affect on her. We had been so used to each other in high school that she didn't have a major affect on me and I didn't have that affect on her either. Now it was different though, our minds and body's had grown. Everything was knew and I knew that even though I had let her consume my thoughts day and night before we broke up it wasn't the love that was epic and nauseating. She ended her phone call and stood up before she even saw me and she instantly looked down playing with the dirt using her shoe.
"How long have you been standing there" She asked me her voice in a low whisper almost as if she didn't want to know the answer
"I- um followed you out here I was going to ask if you were ok but you called someone and I didn't want to interrupt" I muttered not want to scare her off bringing my voice down low
"So you heard all that" She asked not meeting my eyes. All I wanted to see were those beautiful blue eyes that made me feel tingly inside which made my next words so vivid.
"Celia look at me" I said sharply as I walked towards her as she stood against the wall
"What?" She questioned sounding like she had just ran a whole marathon
"Did you mean what you said" I hoped she did, I hoped that she felt the way that epic love is supposed to feel.
"Yes" I didn't know what went on in my head but I suddenly wanted her to know how she made me feel so I took her hand and placed it on my pounding heart. I saw the surprise flash in her face when she felt how my heart was beating so fast against my chest.
"Good" I smiled putting both of my hands on the wall on each side of her head looking down at her. I wanted to kiss her, so bad but she is the one who wanted space- mid thought I noticed her slowly rise and press her lips to mine and kissed me slowly as If it was the first time and In some way it was.
Marcus walked out and I stepped back automatically not even being able to hear what he said pissed that he had ruined the moment. Suddenly we were all going inside and into the elevator, Celia and I stood on opposite ends of the elevator and honestly I wasn't blind to the building tension my palms got all sweaty until finally the doors opened. Celia jogged to Mary's room and shit the door and Marcus looked at me with a smug look.
"What the fuck do you want Marcus" I groaned as we walked to the deserted end of the hall where Jeremiah wasn't.
"What went down outside?" He asked seemed to be as confused and bubbly and my body felt.
"She was on the phone with somebody then when they hung up we talked for a second I cornered her against the wall and she kissed me" I shrugged acting nonchalant about it.
"What about Andre?" He questioned and I thought about the conversation she had.
"I actually think she was on the phone with him which would be weird since she was talking about how I made her feel." I noted feeling my eyebrows knit together.
"So did they breakup?"
"I think so because I don't think Celia would ever cheat on someone"
"True maybe you should talk to her later" he said as if I didn't already think of that.
