Once Namjoon had extracted some information about the Cracks, the boys found that there was no way in hell Jeongguk was giving up any more information. After passing out three times and throwing up twice, they stopped the water boarding, and went back to beatings for a while.

Finally, they took a break, leaving a half unconscious and bloodied up Jeongguk on the chair.

He drifted back awake after hearing the door re open, and in came all five boys again. Calm, cool, collected.

"How was your nap?" Jimin asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Fine thanks." Jeongguk rasped. His voice was disappearing, and in all honesty, he was in a lot of pain.

"Okay. Because you aren't talking any more, unless you've changed your mind...?" Namjoon paused, giving the boy a look.

"Only one way to find out," Jeongguk said with a cheeky but exhausted grin. Really, the boys were unsure why Jeongguk seemed to want the torture.

"Nevermind. We're going to demand 10 million for you from the Jackals." Namjoon said with a roll of his eyes.

"No." Jeongguk spoke immediately, cool exterior replaced by a wild terror that surprised the boys. "You can't."

"Why not J-"

"No more games, Namjoon." Jeongguk snapped. "Torture me, kill me, but do not give me to the Jackals. You can't. Please." He lowered his head, voice cracking slightly, "Please."

"You'd rather die?" Namjoon said incredulously. "They'll probably kill you too, if you asked."

"No, they won't." Jeongguk asked quietly. "What they would do is a million times worse then what you have done."

The boys all fell silent again.

"So they wouldn't kill you? They'd torture you more?" Taehyung asked.

"They would kill me. But only after they kneecapped me, blinded me with coals, lit me on fire, dunked me, peeled off my skin, and then slowly crushed every single bone in my body." Jeongguk spoke, voice quiet, but even, making all the boys shiver.

"They can't..." Jimin said incredulously.

"I've seen it be done. Or some version of it, anyways." Jeongguk said with a small sigh.

They fell silent again. Namjoon exchanged a glance with Yoongi.

Then he sighed loudly.

"Fine. You stay here."

Head snapping up, Jeongguk peered through drawn together eyebrows at the leader.

"You live here. Under supervision, always being tracked, but alive. Safe. We can't let you go, not when you know where and who we are. We won't kill you either, we aren't terrible."

Jeongguk's eyes widened.

"Namjoon, he's a murderer, a kidnapper, literally bred to kill-" Yoongi began sharply.

"And so were you once. So was I." Namjoon shrugged. "He's a kid."

"Twenty-one," Jeongguk grumbled.

"He'll run," Jimin said matter-of-factly.

"You'll put a tracker in him."

"He's dangerous, Joon." Hoseok said quietly, eyes worried.

"Seokkie, you're literally the most dangerous person in Seoul."

The boy winced slightly.

"So what? I live here forever? You expect me to become friends with you after you water-boarded me for three hours?" Jeongguk scoffed, voice still coarse as sanding paper.
