They spoke in hushed whispers. Jeongguk had ditched his pants for a pair of the other boys shorts, who had also changed into a t-shirt and sweatpants after washing the makeup from his face. They were both under the big, warm blue comforter, pulled up to their necks, and laid facing each other.

Jeongguk looked like a fallen angel. His ebony black hair really did have stardust on it, glowing almost blue in the starlight, and shadows painted his gorgeous face resting on the white pillow smelling like Taehyung. His black eyes seemed darker then ever, but were absolutely beautiful- Taehyung could literally see the stars in those dark depths, sparkling.

"My mother was a drug addict," Taehyung spoke softly, his blue eyes gazing into Jeongguks, unwavering. "She fell into a deep debt and kind of forgot about me. My dad was never in the picture, it was just me and her. I loved her, but she loved the drugs more then me. She never paid up. She actually bought from the Jackals."

At that, Jeongguk's eyes filled with a mix of emotions- regret, guilt, disgust. Not at Tae's mother, but at himself. Taehyung gently squeezed the boys warm hand that he was holding in reassurance.

"They killed her. I was gone, and after that I had nowhere to go, so I began stealing. Just small things, purses, watches. I have good hands, always have. I'm pretty good at magic tricks actually." He let out a small chuckle. "After that, I found Bangtan."

Jeongguk shut his eyes for a moment, guilt harsh on his face, and a sigh escaped his lips. "Tae, I'm so sorry." His voice was honest, and in pain. "It would have been me. It would have been the Eyes. I would have commanded it, maybe I was even there-"

"Gguk," Taehyung said softly again. "It's okay. It's really okay. If it wasn't you, it would have been somebody else. I don't blame you, I blame her addiction."

"It wasn't somebody else though, Tae." Jeongguk's voice was harsh, and his eyes anguished. "I did that, I killed people. Every day."

"You didn't have a choice."

"That's not true," Jeongguk spoke, his voice barely above a whisper, eyes haunted. "I'm sure Hoseok told you about the bomb thing. That mission- I led it. I found him. I wasn't given the mission, I chose it. I wanted to hurt him, Taehyung. I wanted to- I was going to-"

"He hurt somebody you loved," Taehyung said with a sad smile. "Revenge is a human emotion. Everybody has it. And you didn't do it, did you?"

Jeongguk was silent for a moment, eyes on their hands between them, as Taehyung gentle ran his thumb over his cracked knuckles.

"It wasn't my mothers death that made me angry." He admitted quietly.

"I know. Jimin found that 'Lee Daniel' died. We assumed that you knew him." Taehyung admitted too, and at the name, Jeongguk winced slightly.

"He was the only loving figure I have ever had in my life. He was just a servant, but he was the one that patched me up after every beating if my father wasn't around. He was the only one who remembered my birthday. And I saw him just- get thrown across the room when the explosion happened. He hit the wall, headfirst, and fell. He was dead almost immediately." Jeongguk shook his head again, eyes pained.

Taehyung was silent, a soothing listener, glowing eyes free of judgement.

"I didn't eat, didn't sleep. I found him. He had no links to the bomb but I found him, and I put together a squad. You guys were there though, and you took them out. So easily too. God, Jibeom was so angry." Jeongguk shook his head, a small smile playing over his lips. "It sucked, because I was the one that got his anger, but him getting beat, just a small loss, it made me happy."
