It was almost sad how easy it was for the golden-blonde boy.
As he sipped the white wine held delicately in his hands, his very laugh enticed the people around him. The smile in his sparkling blue eyes, aglow in the dim light lured them in, and then he trapped them with his effortless charm.
Everybody at the party wanted him.
Most spies were successful with their superior blending in skills, their ability to walk in shadows, to hear without listening. And while yes, Taehyung was amazing at that too, the effectiveness of him being the exact opposite was astounding.
The thing was, when he was loud, gorgeous, friendly and drew attention to himself, nobody suspected him as a spy. They immediately placed labels on him and moved on, assuming he was another partier. Just another boy looking for fun. This way, his targets came to him, instead of vice versa. He could make them take the first steps, the first moves, then guide them with his silk like words to do what he wanted. He could make it so it was all their idea from the start.
How could he have planned anything if it was their idea?
And so, as he leaned against the bar top, laughing and smiling gorgeously at the people around him, he saw her first, coming towards him, a sway in her hips as her red light dress shimmered over her body like silk.
Her warm dark eyes were trained on him like a hungry cat- no, lion. Who could blame her though? The dim lighting made Taehyungs silver silk shirt glimmer like stars, catching all the light like a beacon. The way his pants clung to his thighs and slim waist was too delicious, the messy but carefully styled blonde hair hanging in front of his eyes shimmering like gold. And his eyes- oh, his eyes. The guests at the party knew that those weren't contacts, they couldn't be. Not with the darker, cerulean blue depths and lighter flecks of pale blue silver, not with the way they shone like diamonds. He was not only a beautiful Korean boy, he was a beautiful Korean boy with blue eyes. He was exotic. Special. Naturally, people wanted to possess him.
"That's her, Tae. Gain her trust before continuing," Jimin's voice came over the tiny chip in Taehyung's ear, and he subtly tapped it in a 'yes' with the bottom of his wine glass as he raised it for another sip, his eyes making contact with Jaehwa's. He didn't break the contact- he let his cool blue eyes cover there, inviting her, drawing her in. Jimin knew as well as Tae did that the boy didn't need his advice- the boy was a natural. You didn't get as good as him by luck. Every single action, every expression, ever movement of his eyes and body was planned.
Jaehwa picked up a drink before finally taking a clear path towards Taehyung, and while his eyes didn't move to them once, he was aware of the man always near her like a shadow, watching everybody that laid their eyes on her. Taehyung was glad the man could see him. He wouldn't hide his interest in the girl, he would milk it. Almost like reverse psychology, it would convince them he wasn't a threat.
"Hello there blue eyed boy," She finally spoke when close enough, voice like sugar, smooth and girly. It was her flirting voice, sure as could be. Taehyung allowed a hint of a smile, just a small smirk to travel over the edge of his lips, his tongue silently wetting them. Pushing off the bar, he stood taller, one hand previously resting on the counter top to slide into his pocket. His posture was smooth, relaxed, almost cocky.
"Hello to you, gorgeous," He returned, taking another sip of his drink before setting it down on the counter behind him. Letting her know he was all hers. Make her feel special. Every other girl he had spoken to that night so far only got half his attention. He could see the satisfaction flicker slightly in her dark brown eyes without her even knowing it. Good. "Now what did I do in a past life to meet you?"
