Jeongguk slipped his facemask back up, trying to seem like just another worker and not catch there eye, and walked smoothly into the closest room- Namjoon's. From the room, he could hear the others speaking. His heart was in his throat. There was no way this was a coincidence- they must have found him. They must know he was here. Or, Kangmin had put up a good act, and had known Jeongguk was there the whole time last time. He had sent boys to finish the job.
Jeongguk recognized the first man who had been speaking to Hoseok. He was wearing a long black coat and his hair was buzzed. A scar crossed over his right cheek, his eyes were hard. Park Bangkyun. He was a tier three of the Eyes, a man that Jeongguk had instructed a great many times. Funny he was now here to either kidnap or kill him now.
Hand moving to his waist, Jeongguk slid the gun out of his holster and expertly clicked out the magazine, finding it was fully loaded with thirty rounds. Clicking it back in, he flicked off the safety and cocked it quietly. The silencer was attached. Holding it down, Jeongguk waited at the door silently, listening. Hopefully Hoseok could turn them away. From his posture, Hoseok had one hundred percent recognized who these people were.
Their muffled voices carried through the walls.
"... I'm thinking maybe a little flower, right on my ass." Bangkyun was saying, and muffled laughter from the others carried through the wall.
"Right. Well, I'm actually alone right now- my co-worker is coming soon, he was held back with family stuff, and I have to man the desk... Is it alright if you wait a little?" Hoseok asked, voice calm, and warm- however, it wasn't the usual warmth he usually held. It was forced, it was fake.
Jeongguk slipped out his phone and texted while listening.
"Sure," He spoke. "I thought maybe my friend Jeongguk was working today?" Baekyun spoke, voice still friendly. Jeongguk's blood ran cold. "I think this is the parlour he said he was working at recently."
Hoseok had two options at this point. One- sell Jeongguk out. Say he was in fact a worker here, just not in. Saying this would ensure Bangtans safety, and end in Jeongguk's capture. Two- blatantly deny Jeongguk ever was here, deny knowing him. If the Jackals were here, then they knew. Lying would immediately rise suspicion. It would also mean that Hoseok had chosen to protect him. It would also mean that this would end in a fight.
"Um, I don't think a Jeongguk works here to my knowledge? Are you sure he said Beetle Ink?" Hoseok asked, voice confused.
Jeongguk bit his lip, hand tightening on his gun as he sent the text.
<Bangtan> Group Chat
Jeon Jeongguk: Help. Get here fast. Five Jackals from Eyes. Here for me. Hoseok told them I never worked here when they asked. I am in Namjoons studio. Hoseok said he is waiting for his co-worker to show up, so he would have to delay their tattoos to run the desk. When you arrive do not tattoo him. He will one hundred percent kill you. We can't avoid their suspicion now we have to eliminate them and then get out of here
Kim Namjoon: On our way
Bangkyun was speaking again. "Mm, no, I'm sure this was the place. Even sent a picture. See?"
There was a brief silence, and Hoseok hummed.
"Yeah, that's definitely us. I think that guy might have been a customer here a few days ago? Don't remember his name."
"Ah, I see. If you have any other information, please tell me," Bangkyun spoke again, a smile on his lips. "If I find out that you're lying, gosh that would suck for you."
