I sit beside Eliza and stare off into space. I haven't said anything for a long time. She seems relaxed at the moment so I have no intention of saying anything. I stare and stare until she says," so why are you up, it's way past bedtime." When I don't reply. Then she clears her throat and looks at me. "I couldn't sleep," I reply. To be honest I've been thinking about Aaron and couldn't sleep. I've sunk way too deep and now it seems I can't get back to the surface. She looks pretty, I think to myself. Her hair is messy from moving in bed and she's wearing some pajamas.
"What kept you from sleeping," I ask. "I have a lot on my mind,"she replies. I stand up and head back to my room without saying anything. I climb into bed and pass out. I smile as I drift off. When I wake up I do my everyday stuff. I go to bed and wake up sometime in the night. I see Eliza leaving the agency. I go back to bed thinking that she was sent on a late night mission.
