Chapter 21

 Y/N's POV

It's been three months since everything happened... I've rekindled my friendship with one of my closest friends.  I've been feeling better and Max still checks up on me via text and call. When I first reunited they all cried and cried and were so relieved about it... they had a funeral and wake for me.  

They don't know what has happened to me and the red leader also confirmed as Tord, is still out there but they confirmed this by a giant rumble of robotic mess. I'm living normally now... I still haven't moved on... I'm still too scared to love again.  As the therapist told me, I need baby steps then I'll love again... for now I still have Rosy and I give her a full name.

Rose Bud ( Fake Last Name ) or Rose Bud( Last Name ) it doesn't matter, I'm just glad to be here and not where I was just a few months ago.  He was my high school sweetheart... we were Highschool Sweethearts... but something tells me in my bones in the back of my mind.  It won't be the end of us... 

Tord's POV

Three months ago... I have my arm mutilated and my left eye blinded from the damage Tom did... I was a fool for thinking I could accomplish two tasks at once. I manage to get Tom to drink the serum and I wanted to see if it worked but I hadn't been around to see the results. 

As for my dear high school sweetheart, she's in ( Home Town ) I know where she is... I tortured a government agent to tell me where she lives. The hard part is how to stage her death and make it as believable as last time.  It was easy since it looked like Y/N's family was targeted, now I'm choosing between suicide or an accident. 

" Boss... we've got activity with patient five hundred sixty-four or Jehovah witness?  "  Paul questions the last part.." has he turned yet? " I fiddle with my hands. We've been tracking when Tom transforms and his energy levels, via something I might've injected. " No, sir...I think if we can capture them we'll have a shot ", " Paul looks at me, the British Government is currently watching the boys. Paying for Matt, Edd and Tom's apartment, making sure for at least a year I won't hurt them " I remind. 

" what about Y/N " he glances as he picks up a piece of paper... " We'll get her back sometime this year " I smile.  " Alright sir.. is that it for the day " I nod and dismiss him...He leaves and quietly exits the room. As for me I get up and decide to keep up my training,  I wonder what she's doing now?

Should I just pay a visit?

Y/N's POV

" Bye Rosy you be good now " I warn her, she starts to whimper before I close the door. As (best friend) is taking care of her for the day as I go and get some legal documents, after that, I can apply for a job and slowly get back to join the community.  As for things like cooking I've learned to make things like pasta, pizza, a bit of curry and rice, soup, bacon and eggs and pancakes. Of course mash potatoes which I knew from helping Edd in the kitchen. 

I've also been attending self-defence classes... like karate and MMA.  " Mrs. Y/N it's nice to have you back " (best friend)'s mom smiles at me. " I'm so sorry for what happened to your parents " she gives me a sympathetic look. 

" I'm sorry I haven't been in town for the last few months, why don't I come over for dinner tomorrow and help make some food ". I shake my head " No thank you, but thank you for offering I just have to pick up some things and leave, maybe another time ". 

She looks a bit disappointed but understands and leaves, " Alright love, see you later " she waves. I smile back and walk along my path... It's a small world. I'm just glad I'm back here... 

Max: hey kid, you still there?

Y/N: Yep, still alive and in the flesh Max

Max: Do you need anyone to come to check on you?

Y/N: I don't think so for tonight...

Max: Ok then...

Y/N: when does the contract end?

Max: ... I think in four months...

Y/N: You can't be serious! I mean I was brought here three months ago and they're willing to put me in risk like that!?

Max: I'm sorry I tried to extend it...but the part which they're located in is in danger of getting taken over...

Y/N: Can you guys get me that system and cameras???

Max: Sure it'll alert the police if sees any suspicion activity 

Y/N: Thanks for helping me out Max TTYL

 I turn my phone off... shit...I should take advantage of the government while I still can...at least I got a system in a plan... I'm hopeful in this case.  As I walk to the government area, I feel the wind in my hair. " Number eighty-six " they call out, I walk to the front " Here's your legal document Ms. ( F/L/N ) enjoy your evening, sign and here ". She points to a line and I do what I'm told and leave. 

When I return home Rosy greets me with a dead flower!?, " ( Best friend )'s WHO'S FLOWER IS THIS, " she shrugs. " Um I took on a walk and she picked it and got defensive when I tried to take it back from her " she tries to justify.  " No Rosy...bad girl "  she whimpers, I pet her head and throw the flower out into the garden to fertilize. 

" You couldn't give her a bath? " I ask, Rosy is tracking dirt and mud on her paws... " I'm sorry she wouldn't let me pick her up to see? "  ( Best friend ) gets on their knees and tries to scoop Rosy up but Rosy squirms out and runs behind me.  " It's only because it's your first day and she's only used to me picking her up " I sigh as I take her to the bathroom and give her a bath. 

Then I go and take a bath and we spend the rest of the night binge-watching some of  ( Best friend's ) favourite movies. " Don't forget you have self-defence- ", I cut her off " Yes, yes mom I know I have training tomorrow " I tease.  " Good now wash up dinner! we're having chicken nuggets! only the finest " she chuckles. I shake my head and put Rosy some food and go help make the chicken nuggets. 

That was all for now...  I missed them I really did...
