Chapter 8

20 YEARS LATER................

Serena was now 25. Her appearance has changed a lot. She has short blonde hair now. Her outfit has changed from pink to maroon colour coat with a white t-shirt inside. The ribbon... The blue ribbon given by him was still with her. Instead of wearing on her hair, she wore it around her collar. She is very mature now.

It was evening when Serena got a call from Dawn (An*- Yeah, they're still in touch).

Dawn: Hey Serena! Guess what? I am getting married!

Serena: WHAT! Who's that unlucky guy?

Dawn: Oh just shut up.

Serena: yeah sorry. Tell me his name.

Dawn: His name is Paul. The one I told you back few days before.

Serena: Yeah, you dated him for 2 years.

Dawn: Now, he proposed me! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Serena: OK girl calm down. Congrats.

Dawn: Thanks, and you know what, I want you to come to Kanto to attend my meeting. I am sending you the tickets for tomorrow morning flight. OK, now bye.

Serena: Hey wait!

Dawn hangs up the call. Serena realised that Dawn has actually sent her a ticket. She hesitated first, then realise," If I go, so I can meet him."

She goes to her mother, who was sitting on a couch, having a tea.

"Hey mom, I want to ask you something."

"What is it Serena?"

"Remember Dawn?"

"Oh, the girl from Kanto?"

"Yeah, it's her marriage. So I have to go to Kanto."

"Did she invite you?"

"Yeah." Serena replied. Grace kept thinking and finally said," OK, you can go." Serena smiled and hugged her mother. After they broke the hug, Serena turned around and started walking, until Grace interrupted.

"I know why you are so excited to go to Kanto." Serena turned around to Grace, who did a smirk.

"I hope Sinu recognizes you." Grace said, the which Serena gave a warm smile,

"Thank you mom." She replies and then goes to her bedroom to pack.

'I am coming for you Sinu.' She thought.

The next day, Serena woke up early and went to the Lumiouse City Airport.

"Passengers flying to Kanto region, please get your boarding passes out for boarding the flight." The airport authority announces.

Soon Serena boards her flight. She already knew her seat location. Suddenly she notices a very fat person is sitting on her seat, next to an adult woman. The woman seems to be uncomfortable on sitting there. She approaches them.

"Um... Excuse me, but are you sitting on my seat." Serena says.

"Sorry, but it's my seat. Please check your seat number." The man replies bluntly.

"Um... my seat number is 25C." Serena replies, with a little anger tone. The man checks his ticket and replies," Sorry! Mine is 25D. Actually I have already settled here, so can you please take my seat?"

Serena was going to say yes but then her eyes fall on the woman sitting beside the man. She was in a position like she was requesting her to sit next to her. Serena was just confused, suddenly when the woman said," Oh thank god. You came." Serena was just confused.

"You know each other?" The man asks.

"Yeah! She is my daughter. We are traveling together." The woman says. Serena was just standing there dumbfounded.

"OK, that means I need to go to my original seat. Take your seat mam." The man said and stood up.

"Thanks, I guess." Serena replies and sits on her original seat.

"Thank you." The woman beside her said.

"It's my pleasure. By the way, my name is Serena."

"Nice to meet you Serena. What a cute name. Bythe way, my name is Delia, Delia Ketchum."
