Chapter 9

"Oh, nice to meet you miss Delia." Serena says happily.

"Just call me Delia. So you live in Kanto?" Delia asks.

"No, actually I live here in Vannville City (AN*- After 20 years, all towns have turned into cities.). I am actually going for a marriage."

"It's your marriage?"

"No, it's my friend's."

"Oh OK." Delia takes a deep breath and asks," Are you married?"

On hearing this, Serena felt little uncomfortable. Why would anyone ask her this question?

"No auntie."

"Oh, my Ash is also unmarried."

"Ash?"

"Oh, he's my only son. He is a very good person."

Serena had understood now, where Delia was going.

"See this ring." Delia points towards her finger. "Ash gave this ring to me on my birthday. Every birthday he gives me a gift. See Serena, how lucky woman would be if he gets a husband like my Ash."

Now, throughout the flight, Delia was unlimitedly talking to Serena, only on one topic, Ash. Serena couldn't do anything. She forgot her earphones in her home. She only made excuses to go to the washroom, and stayed there for 10 to 15 minutes. She did this act for about 5 times. Back to Delia, she told everything about Ash including what colour dresses he like to wear and even what colour underwear's he wear. Delia even told her about her house, her family, even her address. She even told her about the new beauty parlour opened in the neighbourhood. Serena just sat there like a small child, listening to Delia.

'A typical son's mother.' She thought.

Soon the 'endless' flight journey came to an end. Serena quickly ran out of the aircraft, to take her belongings and specially, to be safe from Delia.

Soon Serena arrives in the pickup hall. She was waiting for Dawn until her eyes fall on a person. He wore a blue jacket, with raven hair, muscular body and a mature face. He was holding a sign board, on which it was written 'I hate you sweetheart.' Suddenly a voice came to her ear.

"Serena!"

Serena turned around to see Dawn.

"Come here!" Dawn shouted.

"Coming." Serena replied.

Soon as Serena leaves the hall, Delia enters from backside. She glanced around until, a voice shouted from behind.

"MOM!" the muscular guy shouted, and yes the guy is Ash (AN*- His appearance has changed, a lot).

"MOM! MY SWEETHEART!" He shouted.

"Yeah calm down. I am coming." Delia replied, with embarrassment.

Soon both went to their cars and were on their way to their home. Serena and Dawn were going together.

"So Serena, any boyfriend?" Dawn asks, to which Serena shook her head to no.

"Come 'on Serena, you're 25 now. It's time for you to get married." Dawn replies.

On the other side, Delia asks the same questions to Ash, to which he answers," Mom, to get married, there needs to be a girl."

"So, you have lot of friends, like Misty?"

"With Gary."

"OK, May?"

"With Drew."

"Annabel-"Delia was interrupted by Ash.

"Mom, you know about whom I am talking about."

On other hand, Dawn asks the same questions to Serena, and Serena gave the same answers like Ash.

"Serena, you don't even know Sinu's real name. Remember, it was a codename. How will you find him?" Dawn asks with a caring tone.

"I don't know about it, but I will manage. Our hearts are connected." Serena replies.

"You're mad, finding a person, whom you met 20 years back." Dawn replies. The same reply was given by Delia, to which Ash replies," Mom, not 20 years."

Now, both Serena and Ash replies at the same time, but in different cars.

"19 years, 8 months, and 24 days."

They are different persons, but their heart is still one. Even after 20 years.
