Chapter 13

"Do you like Ash?"

The one thing which Serena feared the most happened. Serena was confused, and also was crying inside. She was just lost in the other world. Yes, Ash is a great person, but Sinu is the one for whom Serena came back to Kanto.

"Yes auntie, I like him, but..." Serena replied.

"But?" Delia asks with curiousness.

"I...I ha... I have someone else in my life." She manages to reply and stood up from the sofa and ran outside. Delia was just shocked. She soon realizes what she did. Suddenly a voice came from behind.

"Why did you mom?"

Delia turned around to see Ash standing.

"How happily she came here. Now you made her cry. I am going to drop her." Ash replies and goes outside to Serena leaving Delia.

Soon Ash manages to comfort Serena and takes her to her place. While driving, there was an awkward silence, until Serena broke it.

"Hey Ash, I am sorry what I did back at your place."

"Hey Serena, it's alright. Actually it's my mom's fault. She couldn't control the things in her heart."

"Ash, can I ask you one question?"

"Yeah sure."

"Do you like me?"

Ash was silent for a while, but then he finally replies," Yes, I do."

Serena was just melted by the answer. She realized what mistake she did.

Ash continued," Actually Serena, I take a while to be adjusted with someone, especially with girls. But with you, I didn't actually take time to be with. And, what you said to mom, I really appreciate it. Actually, the one thing I want to tell you is that I also have someone else in my life."

"What?! Really! Wow. I guess who's that lucky girl would be. Actually I am now feeling jealous of her."

"Really?"

"Yeah, now, I want you to come to the wedding tomorrow, otherwise Dawn's goanna kill me and you."

"Yeah sure. I will definitely come." Ash replies and drops Serena at her place.

Next day, during the wedding, Ash went with a blue suit, a white shirt and flowers in his hand. He gave the flowers to the couple and stood alone, wandering where is Serena. Suddenly his eyes fall on the honey blonde hair girl. She was wearing a pink gown, with open and short blond hair, and a blue ribbon on her collar. Ash stood their dumbfounded. He was just lost in her. Serena comes to him and stood in front of her.

"So, how am I looking?" Serena asks.

"Wow. Literally wow." Ash replies, to which Serena lightly blushes. They just stood there in front of each other, melting in each other eyes. Suddenly, an announcement ruins the moment.

The announcer comes in and says," Hello everyone and I welcome you all in the grand wedding of the most beautiful couple; Dawn and Paul. Now I want everyone to be in pairs because we would be having a couple dances, like the one in balls. I request the couple; Dawn and Paul to come at the centre and start dancing."

"Hey Ash, wanna go for the dance?" Serena asks, with a tint of red spots on her cheeks.

"Yeah sure." He replies and takes the hand of Serena. They soon start dancing, hand to hand, with eyes locked with each other. Ash couldn't remove his eyes from hers. They were just dancing and dancing. The song was of 2 minutes. When the song ended, Ash and Serena just stood there, melting in each other eyes. They were just in another world. Soon Serena realizes what she was doing. She broke the dance pose and runs out of the hall.

"Serena!" Ash shouts and follows her. On reaching her, Ash grabs her wrist. In this action, Serena sharply turns around, due to which, the ribbon, the ribbon that Sinu gave falls down from her collar. Soon, she realizes that the ribbon got tore due to the movement. Ash realizes what he had done.

"Serena I am really sorry. I didn't wa-"Ash was interrupted by a hard slap from Serena.

"JUST GET LOST!" Serena screams, with tears in her eyes.

"Serena I-"Serena interrupts her.

"I SAID GET LOST FROM HERE!" She again screams, and this time, she cries. Ash didn't get more thinking and goes out of sight of her.

Serena leans down picking up the teared pieces of the ribbon, having the flashbacks of Sinu, and the time she spent with him.
