Chapter 10

Serena and Dawn were on their way to Pallet town in the car, until a sound occurred.

"BOOM!" The car's tyre burst.

"What happened?" Dawn asks to the driver.

"I think the car's tyre is blown. Let me go and change it." The driver replies.

It was raining heavily outside. The fellow old driver went outside and opened the dickey. He then tried to open the bolts of the tyre, but was tight. At same time, Ash was driving on the same rood until his eyes fell upon the old man. He stops the car.

"Where are you going?" Delia asks.

"An old man is changing the car type in this weather. I am going there to help him." Ash replies and goes out in the rain and approaches the old driver.

"Uncle, go and sit comfortably inside. Let me do it." Ash says.

'Thanks son." The driver replies and goes inside the car.

"Wow uncle! You changed it very fast." Dawn Said.

"No mam. Just see outside." The driver replies. Serena leans her head on the window and sees that it was someone, but she couldn't see his face due to the rain.

"Who is it uncle?" Serena asks.

"It's a young man. He saw me and then came to help me. Many cars passed through, but only he came to help. See mam, you can't find a person like him common here." The driver replies.

Suddenly, the sound of closing of dickey came from behind. Serena turned around to see a man closing the dickey. She soon recognizes him as the muscular guy whom she saw in the airport. She was about to open the door, suddenly when the man left and the car starts moving.

Soon Ash and Delia reach their home. To their surprise, Delia's sister, Diantha was there in the house.

"Hello Delia!" Diantha greeted.

"Oh Diantha! How are you here?" Delia asks and turns around to Ash. He gave her a smile and replies," Surprise Mom."

"Oh thank you Ash." Delia replies and then turns to Diantha. They sit together and started talking. Meanwhile, Ash went outside near the river and sat there, like his daily routine. Suddenly his eyes fall on some poor kids. They were conversing with each other.

"Hey where did you get $10?" A poor boy asks.

"Don't tell anyone. A young woman is giving every poor $10. Go, unless she would be gone." Another poor boy replies. On hearing this, the poor boy goes towards a certain direction. Ash seemed interested in this. He followed him, until his eyes fall on a girl with honey blonde hair. It was Serena

The poor boy went to her and asks," Mam, can you also give me $10?" Serena checks her purse, but she couldn't find it. She looks up, and sees a man standing there. She quickly recognizes him as the muscular man. Ash sees her then understands what she is up to. He quickly takes out a $10 note and gives it to the poor boy.

"Thank you uncle." The poor boy replies and goes. Ash was about to leave until a certain voice came.

"Hey wait!" Serena said.

She ran to him. "Hi."

"Hi." Ash replies.

"I want to thank you."

"Hey, it's no need. It was only $10."

"Yes, but also thanks for helping the old driver to change the tyre."

"Wait, how do you know?"

"I was sitting with my friend in the car."

"Wait, you were there and didn't even help the driver." He continued," You know how heavy the tyre was. I still have pain in my arms. How selfish you are."

Serena felt sad. "I am very sorry." She said in sad tone, to which Ash starts laughing. Serena face turned from sad to confuse.

"Hey, I was just kidding." Ash said to which Serena smiled. Soon they start walking together. Serena told him about Kalos. She also told him about the 'shocking' woman, she encountered in her flight, without telling her name. Ash told her about Kanto. They had a very good time in walking. Finally Ash says," it's time for me to go. See you later."

"Bye. It was a great time with you."

"It's my pleasure." Ash replies and leaves her. Serena realises something, which was too late. She forgot to ask him hi name. Neither had she told him her name. Serena face palms her and made it towards Dawn's place. While she was taking out her phone from her bag, her hand touched on something. She takes out it and then is surprised.

"A ring?" She muttered.
