07. Grace

"So, I heard you asked Iguro to head over to the Red Light District to help ensure [name] will be safe?" Tengen spoke out and raised an eyebrow at Haizaki who was busy trying to make his own medicine, only to have Shinobu coming over and hitting him on the head, taking over the equipment.

"Yeah, I did. I'm too worried about her. I mean, LOOK AT HER! SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL. SHE'S  BEAUTY, SHE'S GRACE!" and Tengen could only nod in response as he looked at how agitated Haizaki was when it comes to [name].

"You don't think anything might happen between them, right?" Kyojuro asked, obviously in an innocent manner as he was just curious. That's when Haizaki's dark blue ocean eyes widened in response as he realized what he had just done.

He immediately stood up and was about to bolt from the Butterfly Estate only to have Shinobu stopping him easily by injecting him with a numbing serum.

"NOOOOOOOOO! [NAME]! MY PRECIOUS [NAME]!"

[name] woke up feeling a little too warm for her liking. She soon sat up and noticed that there was someone sleeping right next to her. She rubbed her dark blue ocean eyes in a soft circular motion, and then she remembered who had spent the night with her.

None other than the Serpent Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Iguro Obanai.

[name] then smiled a little as she raised her hand gently and placed it on the side of his face. He looked so peaceful sleeping just like that instead of a scowl or a frown on his face. She then gently caressed his face, and soon got out of his hold. She then left her room and quickly adjusted her attire, which then she saw the Lady of the house who had on a wide smile on her face.

"How was it?" she asked, and [name] blushed slightly at what the lady had asked. The lady then giggled in response as she lightly patted [name] on the head and then her cheek.

"Great job, remember to secure more customers once he leaves, alright?" and [name] nodded in response as she headed towards the kitchen where she will be preparing food for Obanai when he wakes up.

"[name], you're going to be with him for two days. Let him bring you out for food instead," the Lady of the House tried to reason with [name], and she then stopped searching for proper ingredients. She then nodded in response and soon hurried to take a shower instead.

Since the brothel was still considered close until late evening, [name] thought it will be perfectly fine for her to walk around dressed loosely as the weather was rather hot. She thought it was okay until she saw Tanjiro.

"Akane-san!" he yelled out and [name] quickly placed her hands over his mouth to shut him up. Tanjiro then immediately dragged [name] into his room, and [name] quickly helped him to put on some makeup to hide away his scar as well.

"Did you managed to find anything?" [name] asked, and Tanjiro shook his head.

"I heard Iguro-san had come by to "buy" your time," Tanjiro spoke out and [name] nodded in response and smiled in satisfaction when she saw how perfectly covered his scar was.

"I believe Iguro-san really loves you a lot," and [name] chuckled slightly at the comment he had just made.

"He doesn't, I think you got the wrong idea. Iguro-san loves someone else, not me," she said with a sad smile, and that's when [name] realized she actually did felt sad when she thought about Obanai liking someone else.

"That's weird..."

"Ah, I should probably head back to my room! He might be awake already, keep up the good work okay?" [name] whispered and hugged Tanjiro slightly. She then quickly got up and ran out of Tanjiro's room, and headed back for hers.
