Ray POV

Right now I'm with Mr Sha- I mean my daddy. We're at the weekend camp and so far things are going great.

"Hand me the mallet son," daddy said.

I went over with confidence to get the mallet. I picked it up and man, that thing is really heavy.

I dragged it on the ground. "Here daddy," I said.

"Thanks son," he said picking up the mallet with ease.

I watched him as he pitched our tent then put our stuff inside the tent.

"Get in Ray," he said gesturing for me to enter.

I ran to him and got inside and he followed me behind. I sat criss-cross style.

"Can I ask you something?" I started and he nodded. "Did you also go camping with your daddy?" I asked.

He rubbed the back of his neck. "My father was always a busy man since he had two jobs and they took most of his time. I never did such stuff with my father," he said.

I tilted my head. "Why didn't you ask him to spend time with you?"

"How could I? He was the bread winner. He had to provide for me, my sister and my mom," he said.

"What happened to your daddy?"

He sighed. "He died when I was eighteen and my sister, Cynthia was fourteen."

I nodded my head and we laid out our sleeping bags then we laid on top of them.

"Ray. There's something I wanna tell you," daddy said.

I scooched closer and laid my head on his chest. "Shoot," I said and he chuckled.

"Well. Your mommy and I are dating," he said.

I knew it! I've always suspected that something was going on between them.

"That's fine by me," I said. "Do you love my mommy?"

"I love your mommy a lot. She makes me happy. I love making her happy," he said smiling from ear to ear.

I nodded. "Since you're mommmy's boyfriend and you spend a lot of time with her. Can I ask you for something?" I asked hoping that he'll not turn me down.

"Anything. I'll do anything for you."

Music to my ears.

"Can you ask mommy to get me a baby sibling," I said smiling. "I asked her a couple of months back but she still doesn't have a big belly indicating that she ordered a baby," I said rolling my eyes.

He chuckled. "I'll see what I can do."

"Thank you. Being the only child is fun and all but it gets boring at times. I need someone to keep me company when you and mommy are working," I said. "Plus I believe I'll be the best big brother in the world," I said puffing up my chest.

Shawn POV

So far, this camping thing is not bad. I'm really enjoying quality time with Ray. He's such an active boy who loves exploring. That explains why he always wonders around my club whenever Bey's still at work and I'm looking after him.

Its our last day at this camp and Ray is helping me pack.

I felt a slight tap on my shoulder. I turned and immediately rolled my eyes when I saw who it was.

"Are you stalking me now?" I asked getting agitated.

She chuckled. "No baby. Just call it, closely observing my special other," she said smiling.

I chuckled bitterly. "Special other? Rihanna, you and I are through so get your ass out of here."

She smiled and came over me. "Never," she whispered in my ear.

I should really get a restraining order against her. She's really starting to get on my last nerve.

"Daddy I can't fold my sleeping bag," Ray whined as he came to me.

"Daddy?" Rihanna asked with a raised eyebrow. "So you and Miss Decorator are a thing now?" She said then chuckled. She then bent down to Ray's level. "Hey sweetie. I'm Rihanna what's your name?" she said warmly.

What's this woman doing? She doesn't like kids so why is she putting up this façade?

"My name is Raymond August Alsina," Ray said warmly.

"That's a cute name for a cute little boy," she said slightly pinching his chubby cheek.

I picked up Ray and left. This woman is just too much. Just because she was in the military she thinks I'm afraid of her.

"Since the camp is over. Can I still call you daddy?" Ray asked as he buckled his seatbelt.

I looked at him and smiled. "Of course son. I love you like my own," I said.

"I love you too daddy."
