Beyonce POV
"Can you hear me Miss Knowles?" I heard a voice echoing in the distance.
My vision was blurred due to the huge beam of light flashing through my left eye then went over to my right eye.
"I hear you," I said barely above a whisper.
I slowly opened my eyes and tried familiarizing myself with my surroundings.
"Where am I?" I said lowly as I tried to get up.
"Relax Miss Knowles," this female said as she placed her hand on my chest and slowly lowered me down. "I'm Dr Williams. You were passed out when they brought you here and your blood pressure was over the roof. We kept you overnight and you and your baby are responding well to the medication. I'll advice you to keep your stress levels down otherwise you will hurt the baby and yourself as well," she explained and she left.
I looked around and no one was there. I just heard the peeping of the machines.
I sighed then I placed my hand on my stomach. "Mommy's sorry munchkin. It was never my intention to get us hospitalized. I'll do what the doctor said. I love you," I said smiling.
The door then swung opened and in came my mom, Kelly, Ray and Shawn.
Its a good thing my dad didn't come. I still can't believe all the things he said to me.
"Look whose awake?" Kelly said coming towards me and gave me a hug. "Why didn't you tell me you're with child?" She said playfully pinching my cheek.
"I wanted the father of my unborn baby to know first," I smiled looking at Shawn.
He came over and pecked my lips. "I'm so happy you're awake. You gave me such a scare," he said.
I smiled weakly. I looked around and saw Ray sitting on mama's lap. That boy should stop being a baby at all times. He should remember that there's another bundle of joy coming in a couple of months.
"Come to mama baby," I said directing to Ray. His face immediately lit up and he ran to me. Shawn helped him get on my bed and he hugged me.
"Daddy told me that you we're asleep," he said breaking the hug. "I was really scared mommy," he said in his baby voice.
"Awe, I'm sorry baby. Mommy wasn't feeling well," I said and I looked at him more closer. "Were you crying?" I asked as I squinted my eyes.
"Me? Never? I mean... When have you seen Raymond crying... Never. That's for sure," he said chuckling nervously.
This child blabbers gibberish whenever he's lying.
He was definitely crying. His eyes all reddish and puffy. Poor baby, he must have been scared.
Ray POV
Phew! I think mommy bought my story of never crying.
The truth of the matter is... I was crying. Grandpa was really mean to mommy. He said really mean stuff to mommy like calling my baby sibling worthless. I may not know what 'worthless' means but I bet its a bad word since mommy looked very hurt.
"How are you feeling baby?" My grandma asked my mommy.
"My munchkin and I are fine," she responded.
That's my cue to sneak out of this place. When adults start talking to each other, you gotta bring in camping gear since they take forever to wrap things up.
I slowly made my way to the door and I was off.
Now I just gotta go explore this place and have a little fun.
I walked for a while and found myself peeping through this room. I saw this boy about my age lying on the bed with a bunch of tubes going in and out of him.
"Ouch, that must hurt," I said to myself and I walked away.
I took a right turn and doctors came hurtling towards me with that weird mobile bed hospitals they have. I moved out of the way.
I walked some more and I heard babies crying. I walked over to this huge window. I took a chair so that I can see better.
"How cute," I cooed in admiration as I saw the babies in their cribs. They looked so cute and tiny.
"One of your siblings there?" This man said to me.
I looked at him. "No but my sibling is still in my mommy's tummy," I said.
"Congratulations big man," he said flashing a smile then he left.
I got off the chair and huffed out a puff of air. "Time to retrace my steps," I said to myself.
I put back the chair and something captured my attention. I walked closer to the door.
"ER?" I said tilting my head. "What does that mean? Maybe it means 'Enter Ray'," I said shrugging.
"Don't go in there Raymond," I heard a familiar voice.
I turned. "Hello Rihanna," I said smiling.
"Hey Raymond. What are you doing here?"
"Mommy and my baby sibling were not feeling well," I said.
"Your mother is pregnant?" She asked and I nodded. "Ummm, I gotta go... See you later bye," she said frantically then she left.
O-kay. She's weird.
I went back to getting to mommy's room.
"That's right, she's pregnant," I heard. I got closer and saw Auntie Kelly talking over the phone.
Let me eavesdrop just to hear what she's talking about.
I decided to stay hidden and at the same time I'll be able to hear what she's saying.
"There's no one here, you can tell me our next plan. As long as you keep the money coming, I'll do anything... Kill Bey? Why would you want me to kill my best friend?... What's in it for me?... Music to my ears," she said chuckling. "Just tell me what to do and I'll make sure she's dead before she gives birth to this damn child so you and Shawn can be together or whatever... Bye."
Hold up. Did Auntie Kelly say what I think she just say?
"Oh no!" I yelled.
"Ray, how long have you been standing there?" Auntie Kelly asked shocked.
Long enough to know you're planning to kill my mommy and baby sibling.
"What do you mean?" I asked playing dump. "I just got here."
"Why were you yelling?"
Think of an excuse Ray before she gets suspicious.
"I just passed a vending machine and realized that I didn't ask daddy for any loose change," I said.
"Were you eavesdropping on my conversion?" She asked me with a raised eyebrow.
"What's with the questions? No offense but I have way better things to do than to eavesdrop on your conversion," I said with a slight attitude as I walked passed her and into mommy's room.
"Where have you been young man? Your mother has been worried sick about you," Grandma spat as she walked towards me.
"Call Shawn mom and tell him that we've found Ray," mommy said directing to Grandma. "Where were you Raymond? You've got us on a wild goose chase for over an hour," she said getting agitated.
I just stared at her like a lost puppy.
"I was just exploring," I said lowly.
"Exploring? I've told you countless times that you should stay put. Something could have happened to you," she vented out.
"But nothing happen to me. I don't understand what the fuss is all about," I said.
She gave me the stink eye. "You lucky these damn tubes and machines are holding me back otherwise I would have whooped you by now."
She seems grumpy. I bet she's hungry.
