Volleyball

I was warming up for my volleyball game. I played for stanford university and today we were going against University of Nebraska today. College volleyball is really fun to be honest. I love playing volleyball and hanging out with my teammates. I turned around to look at who was here to watch my team and I.

I look over to see Colby and the rest of our friends watching. They were on the sidelines because they were family. My actual family was also here. Colby and my family always came to all of my games.

*skip to the starting of the game*

I was kinda anxious but i'm team Captain and I need to be more confident. My team had first serve. I always was the first to serve. I threw the ball in the air in the air and hit it hard. It landed next to a player on the other team and got a point. I went into the huddle and looked at Colby and everyone cheering. I smiled and got the ball again and severed. The other team was about to hit the ball over but I blocked it. Sadly their libero received the ball. The ball was on our side of the court now. "You got this babygirl!" I heard Colby yell. I smiled and looked over for just a second and then went and jump waiting for the ball to be in front of my hand. The setter then set the ball to me and I hit it as hard as I possibly could and I got Another point. Everyone in the crowd started screaming "Woowww!" I heard Corey and Sam say. I laughed and looked over to them. Then they put up a sign that said 'Hit that ball Y/N.' I laughed again then got back to the game.

*Skip to the ending of the second set*

The score was 23-19, us in the lead. "Y/N i'm going to set it to you and you do the move we've been practicing." Maya the setter of are team said. "Alright." I said. The ball was coming and the libero hit it but it went out. I ran for the ball then jumped and dived for the ball and hit the ball back in to court. I hit my hand pretty bad and hurt my leg and couldn't get up. My couch ran to me and so did Colby and my dad. "Babe are you ok?" Colby said grabbing me. Everyone went quiet to wait and see if i was gonna have to sit out of the game. "Do you need any help Y/N?" My couch asked me eager to know. He didn't want me off the court. "I'm good." I said getting up while Colby and my dad were helping me. Everyone sat back down and i went back on the court. "Hey it's all good just shake it off girl." Maya said. I smiled at her then got back at the game.

The game went on and we won all 3 sets. Which meant we won the game.

Colby then came up to me and hugged me and I hugged back. "You did so good baby." He said kissing me. I kissed back and said thank you. Everyone else came and congratulated me. I said my thank you's and then headed back home with Colby sense it was a home game.

Colby was driving and put his hand on my thigh. "You did amazing today babe. I mean that dive you did was amazing, but when you didn't get up I ran as fast as i could to you." Colby said squeezing my thigh. "Ya I could hear you breathing!" I said sarcastically. "haha that's so funny." Colby said sarcastically. "Just don't do anything stupid like that again, Ok." Colby said.

"I promise." I said to him kissing him on the cheek.

We then got home, ate, and hung out together. Then we went to sleep together cuddling.
