Sophie's POV

I walked down the hall of the college apartments and toward the stairs. It was still in the middle of the night, but I had to go to a drug store to find some sort of medicine to last the boys at least until morning. I didn't want them both passing out while they were trying to do work or study.

Or falling asleep on my lap.

I walked down the stairs, putting on my mittens and wrapping my blue scarf around my neck. I walked out of the apartments and toward the Walgreen's across the road. Suddenly, someone grabbed my arm and shoved me against the fence.

"Hey! Let go of me," I said, squirming my arm around in the man's grip. I looked up and saw the boy that had been fighting Keefe in the bar. "Let go of me you basterd!" I shouted. He quickly covered my mouth with his extra hand, his head shooting in both directions. Then, he looked back over to me, his eyes narrowing on mine.

"Shh, there are people following you," he hissed at me. My eyes shot to the side and bit his hand. He screeched and I kneed him in his soft spot. Running off as fast as I could, I could still hear footsteps chasing after me.

"Yeah! You are!" I shouted behind me. The person chasing after me's footsteps started fading and I slowly started to slow my strides. I walked into the Walgreen's panted and looking over my shoulder every once in a while.

"Hello there! What can I help you with?" A woman asked from the font desk. I looked behind me once more before walking over to the desk.

"Hi, I need some sick medicine," I told her. She smiled and nodded, running off into the store to go find what I wanted. I anxiously waited at the counter, looking at the glass door every few seconds to make sure I wasn't being watched.

"Here you go ma'am, have a nice rest of your night," she said, handing me the bag full of medicine and I handed her a twenty. She waved as I walked out of the door, too paranoid to walk home.

So, I ran.

No one followed me, but I did hear some suspicious cracking in the bushes. But when I got back to the apartment building. I found Keefe wandering outside. He was mumbling, rubbing his head with one hand and trying to steady himself against the wall with the other. I quickly ran over to him, throwing his arm over my shoulder and acting as a human crutch.

"What are you doing outside the room?" I hissed at him. He groaned slightly and I opened the door for him. We walked inside and he immediately collapsed on his bed. I walked over to the table in the corner in his room and set the bag down, taking the medicine tube out.

"Have you eaten anything?" I asked him, studying the bottles directions. He shook his head, sitting up against his head board. His shirt was still off but his pants had been put on. At least he hadn't been stumbling around in the hallway with only his boxers on.

That would have been weird.

"Here, you need to eat something before you drink this stuff," I told him, walking behind the curtain. Tam was still sleeping, cuddling into the blankets. His face was starting to return to its original color which was a good sign.

"Tam," I said, shaking his shoulder. He groaned, his pale lips parting slightly.

"Sophie?" He asked, his eyes opening to slits. I smiled and handed him an apple I had found in the fridge. He looked at me in confusion.

"You need to eat before you can have the medicine," I told him. He looked over to the apple, before sticking a shaking hand out from under the covers and taking the apple from me. "I'll be back in a bit," I told him as I walked back into Keefe's part of the room. He took the apple from me and I could tell he was hungry. He ate the fruit before I could speak a word.

"I'm ready for the medicine. Make me feel better, Dr. Foster," he told me, his hands lying in his lap as I sat on the bed next to him. I held the spoon out and poured some of the pink liquid into it. His ice blue eyes looked at the liquid with discussed, his lips positioning themselves in a thin line.

"Here goes nothing," he mumbled as I shoved the spoon into his mouth. His nose scrunched as he forced the medicine down his throat and gagged. "I didn't think it would be that bad," he murmured to me. I smiled and used the spoon to scoop a bit of the medicine going down his chin. A small blush erupted on his cheeks as I stood up.

"Well, try to fall asleep again, I'm gonna see how Tam's doing," I told him, walking over to the curtain.

"Will you come back? Will you sleep on the floor like you were?" He whimpered to me before I could cross the halves of the rooms. I looked over to him with a slight smile. Then, I nodded. He let out a sigh of relief, the worried line between his eyebrows disappearing. He sunk back into his bed as I walked to the other side of the room and found Tam slowly eating the apple, small bites at a time. The smile he gave me was painful.

"You doin' okay?" I asked him, sitting on the bed next to the hump of blankets. He groaned and shook his head, his bangs shifting.

"No, my stomach hurts, and my head. I'm not that cold anymore, but the temperature still feels a bit off," he told me. I nodded and reached up to his forehead. His fever wasn't as high as it was a few hours ago, but still off.

"Well, I'll give you the medicine and you try to get some more sleep, alright?" I asked him. He smiled slightly and nodded. I gave him the same medicine as I did to Keefe. Then, he slipped right back under the blankets.

But not after kissing my forehead goodnight.

I was blushing the whole way back to Keefe.

I was glad it was dark so Keefe wouldn't notice. But, I layed back on the floor, pulling the thin blanket over my body and lying my head on the pillow. But, before I could close my eyes, I felt a pair of arms lift me onto the bed. I was placed next to something warm and I couldn't help but think how Keefe might get me sick. But, he was so warm and homey, I didn't have the power to get off him.

"Goodnight, Keefe," I told him, turning a bit and placing a soft kiss on his forehead.

I was just writing this last part and I was like, 'what if they have Corona?'

I mean I'm not wrong.
