The Master's POV

I am so comfy.

My eyes slightly peel open, and I notice the darkness outside the window. Is it still night? I sleepily trail my hand along my pocket, taking out my pocket watch. 8:00m. Gosh, Pretty dark for eight in the morning.

Yawning, I move slightly where I was lying and felt a sort of wall. My eyebrows wrinkled in confusion as I looked to the side, then slowly remembered. We were watching a movie. Eyes trailing over Kayla's sleeping face I notice that she doesn't wear makeup. Aren't human girls meant to wear it? I mean, so they feel better about themselves or what? I'll ask her later.

Grunting quietly, I try and manoeuvre my way out of a massive blanket and out. Half-way out, I heard someone move and I held my breath. "Please don't wake up, please don't wake up." I mutter slightly as myself in the dark, with only my legs in the blanket, and my arms being my only balance, focused on Jack's moving.

His breathing evened out again and I started up. I fell to the ground soundlessly, getting up to brush off dust gathered on my trousers. Slightly cracking my neck, I walk over to our Christmas tree and nearly took a step back in surprise. There's... More than Kayla and Jack's presents. I quickly grab an unknown one and looked at the label.

To: The Doctor
Merry Christmas!
From: Santa

I scoffed loudly, gently setting the present down before getting up and heading towards the door. I need a new set of clothes. There is no such thing as this... Santa.

~*~*~After changing and all that jazz~*~*~

Nicely suited up, I walk over to the kitchen. I've never really tried cooking before. Might as well try. Finding it empty, I walk to a cupboard and found a pancake mix. Perfect.

I take it out and read the label. Eh, doesn't look difficult at all. I walk to the pan and pour some of the mixture in. I look down at the weird cooker. What even? I push in a knob and a ticking sound appears. In surprise, I whipped my hand away and it stopped.

I shrugged before pressing it again, fire appeared under the pan. So that's how you do it. I hold the ticking noise for a few seconds longer before the fire stayed and I watched the pale-mixture sizzle a bit. I grab a spatula and touch the side of it hesitantly. Hope I'm doing it right...

~A few minutes later~

"NASTY!" I screeched, throwing the pan out the window. How dare it burn me, its Master! Shaking my hand violently I groan and walk out. I give up on that.

Suddenly, I stopped. My eyes widened, body stiff as I remember an important detail...

Presents...

Running, I head out the door hoping nobody heard. Or knows. They shall never know. Speed-walking, I quickly go to a shopping centre nearby, in hope of gifts.

Oh Gallifrey what do I get?

Kayla's POV

My eyes slowly open, seeing light covering the room. What time is it? I sleepily look down at my watch, seeing the time 11am.

Wow, I'm lazy.

I groan slightly, stretching from where I sat. Looking around, I notice the lack of the others. Frowning slightly, I throw the covers over and stood up, hearing my back crack.

I cringe slightly at the sound, before running out the room and towards the clothing room. Doing as usual I get changed, showered and etc.

Walking back, I couldn't help but notice the lack of noise. Is nobody in? ...It is Christmas right? I mean... Do they know it's christmas time at all?
