It was quiet amongst the small team of hero's. All impatiently waiting for the return of the two Leaguers and their dear friend.

Batgirl remained standing as far away from the group as possible without leaving the area. Her arms folded tightly over her chest as she glared down at her feet. Right here. She couldn't help but think. Dick was right here and she missed her chance to help him because- she shot her piercing glare towards the others as Robin came to stand at her side.

"You know they're just as worried about him as we are." He reminded as he placed himself against the wall next to her.

"He's gone again because of them." She muttered.

Robin nudged her shoulder with his own. "Dont forget they have a Kryptonian and a two Martians that can hear you." He reminded.

"So?" She spat back with a raised brow.

"Words hurt." He continued. "And they're just worried about their friend."

"But-!" She sighed, letting her head fall back against the wall as she looked back up towards the night sky. "I know. It's just.. He was right here."

"I know." Robin smiled softly at her. "But we'll find him. Soon. I know it."

Dick was nearly pulling his hair from his scalp as he tried to block out everything around him. Oh so desperately wanting it all to disappear. But just like with Wally. No matter how hard he tried to ignore it- to convince himself that it wasn't real- it was still there. As real to him as ever.

He would stumble around, searching every nook and cranny to find a way out. But it only proved to make himself that much more tired and that much more desperate. He ignored the haunting music echoing around him and the eerie squeak of the trapeze bar as it hung high in the air.

He just wanted to go home.

He laid his head against the wall as he tightly screwed his eyes shut, biting his lip a moment to desperately try and quiet his sobs. He was completely unaware of the small clicking of heels behind him until an echoing clap rang in his ears.

He whipped around quickly, his widened gaze staring at the man before him. They smoothed out their greying greased back hair, before adjusting their cheaply tailored suit, with a crooked grin. "What a sight to see." They mused, their voice like poison to Dicks ears as he slowly straightened himself out. "Tell me, kid." They spoke, "Did you miss me?"

Dicks teeth were grinding so violently together one feared they may even crack. The tears falling down his cheeks faster as he snarled out the newcomers name, "Zucco."

Batman and Superman landed where Dick was last spotted by the Kryptonian. Confusion drenching the two as they couldn't so much as see a clue as to where he had went. "I don't understand," Superman mumbled. "He was just here."

"Nightwings good at disappearing." Batman reminded. "But he's also human so he couldn't have gotten far." He furrowed his brows together a moment as he glanced around. Looking for any clue to point to where the acrobat could have gone.

Superman joined him in his search, walking around slowly as he used his x-ray vision to see through the surrounding walls. "Found him." He called, pulling Batman from the small bit of blood they were examining. "Just down the street."

"Let's go."

The two quickly found themselves within an old warehouse, a layer of dust caking over each untouched machine. Batman tried a light, but even that proved useless as they remianed surrounded by darkness. "Do you have a visual?" The Dark Knight asked as he adjusted the lens of his cowl to see.
