As the concert finished, Kuroo and I went around to all the fans we had met earlier and got all their contact information, took pictures with everyone, talked about our idols, and had a whole lot of fun with our mindless chatter.

All the fun came to an end soon enough, and Kuroo walked me back to my house. We walk up the stairs, standing on the porch just in front of the door.

"You know," I say shyly, "today was...an amazing day. One that I will never forget. I'm so thankful that I got to see my favorite group, but more than that...you were the one I got to see them with...that means so much to me, words can't even begin to describe it.."

I turn to Kuroo and grab the sleeve of his jacket gently. My face was a bright red color, but it didn't bother me. I was too happy, just being close to him like this.

"(Y/n)..." Kuroo says in a soft, almost inaudible, voice. He places his left hand softly on my lower back, pulling me closer to him, while he brings his right hand up to my cheek. "It hasn't been long since you and I first started talking, but everyday has been the most fun with you...I hope things won't change once we start high school, but I can promise you this: I will stay by your side for as long as you'll allow me. I want to, more than anything. I can't...see a future where you're not next me..."

Kuroo leans down slowly, hovering his lips just above mine. He pauses, unsure if he should continue, what with all the times we've been interrupted thus far. He seems to pull away a bit, so I grab his hair and pull him into a soft, deep kiss.

It is only for a few moments, but these moments feel like a lifetime. Being close to him like this...I never want to be apart from him...

Kuroo pulls away from this kiss, face completely red, as if he had sunburn. He stares at me for a few moments, collecting his thoughts. "...thank you...for today...." he says smiling lightly. "..I won't be able to see you for a few weeks. I'll be going to see some family soon...we leave tomorrow. I'll be back the day before we start school.." his smile fades as he says this last part.

I grab his face gently with both of my hands, making him look into my eyes. "Then I will wait for you...however long it takes. I will see you when I see you, but I will wait for you. I promise." I smile widely.

Tears well up in his eyes slightly, but he looks more reassured. "And I'll wait for you, as well, m'lady.." Kuroo kisses my forehead, then reluctantly lets go of me, walking off the porch and down the street. I wait outside, watching him walk away, until he's completely out of my sight.

Ding! "I'm leaving now, princess. I'll count the days until you and I meet again. w_<☆" is what the text from Kuroo reads.

I kissed him last night...I still can't fully believe it...ugh, and stupid me! I didn't even get to ask him out properly...we only kissed, that doesn't mean he's mine yet...

"Honey, come down for a second!" My mom calls out to me from downstairs.

I grab my iPod, send Kuroo a good morning text, then head downstairs to see what my parents want.

My mom is sitting at the kitchen table, smiling from ear to ear, while my dad walks over to her with a gift bag in his hands.

I sit down at the table across from my mom. "What's going on?" I ask, feeling suspicious.

Mom grabs my hands gently. "Well, we didn't have the money at the time, but dad and I have been saving up." She says happily.

"Happy late birthday," dad says, handing me the gift. "It's also a...congratulations on getting the hell out of middle school, so be careful in high school...gift."

"Go ahead, open it! Quick, quick!!" Mom exclaims.

I open the gift bag and take out a small rectangular box. I glance up at my parents in slight disbelief. I continue opening the box to find a brand new iPhone. "You're joking...right?" I ask.

Mom runs over to give me a hug and kiss on the cheek. "Nope! We wanted to get you this sooner, but we weren't able to. Now you can go to school and feel a little safer. You can call us whenever, wherever, you can call your friends, have fun, sweetie~" she says, giving me another kiss.

"You guys are the best, thank you!!" I say happily with teary eyes. "I need to text everyone I know!!"

After texting both of my parents, my brother, and a few of my friends from my old town, I text Kuroo. "Hey, it's (f/n). I just got a new phone, so I can't text you whenever!(๑>◡<๑)"

"Yay! That means late night calls!?(w‿◠)♥", is what he replies to me.

I text back, and for about half an hour, Kuroo and I text each other before bed pulled away to do family things.

"I'll call you tonight, kay? Don't get too lonely without me around~ (Wз^)-☆" Kuroo texts. I reply with some witty comment, then head back up to my room to play with my new phone, and figure out how it works.

"Let me fix everyone's contacts up all pretty~" I say aloud to myself. "I'll put cute pictures for everyone! And I'll put... 'Kuroo ♥...and the picture of us from the concert...hehe!" I giggle reminiscing about the moments we shared the night before.

I think I'll spend the rest of the day getting ready for school. I still need to go out and buy a bunch of books and pencils...I wonder what high school is going to be like...I'm actually...really looking forward to spending the next three years with Kuroo....

With these thoughts in my mind, I set out for school shopping. Only two and a half weeks until school starts, so it's better to be prepared as soon as possible.
