🚨Chapter 5🚨

Destiny Reign Harris~
When I saw that Tae was right behind Xuri and I do my first instinct is to grab Xuri and run. I began to run as fast as I could hoping that Tae couldn't run as fast.

"Destiny we've been racing all our lives." He yelled to me making me laugh

"But who always won?" I asked with a little attitude in my voice as I lost sight of him

I looked behind me and he was no where to be found and god knows I don't like jump scares. I'm even more tired than before because I was holding Xuri all this time. I slowly crept over to the car and looked on both sides of me making sure he wasn't near the car. I opened the car door and out Xuri inside so she could sit in her car seat and watch her IPad.

"You're not faster than me Des." Tae said standing right behind me and right away Xuri started laughing

"Whatever you say Glokk." I said making emphasis on the name

"How many times do I have to tell you not to say that shit especially not in front of her." He said going over to his side of the car

"I wouldn't call you that if you would just leave the gang." I whispered picking my nails

"I already told I'll leave when I don't need the money." He said pulling off from the mall

"Tae you're not broke so why do you need it so bad?" I asked

"Can we not talk about this in front of her?"he asked raising his voice at me making Xuri look up from peppa pig

"Sure." I replied trying not to cry at the tone of his voice

I went to my phone and began to order my food that I was going to eat at school. Trying to keep myself busy and not cry is the hardest task I know of. But before you knew it a tear drop was on the screen of my phone.

"Destiny I keep forgetting I'm-" Tae started but was cut of by me

"It's fine." I said blandly and I noticed that I was getting closer and closer to school

"I'm serious I'm actually sorry I was being insensitive when I raised my voice at you knowing that that's a trigger for you." Tae said he made it seem sincere.

"I said it's fine and I just need to stop crying all the time." I said before getting out because we were now at my school.

I opened the back seat door and told Xuri bye and I kissed her on the cheek. Then I waved to Tae and he waved back zooming off.

"Who is he?" A random girl that I've never talked to before said to another girl I don't know

"I think that's glokk the super fine one." The second girl said to the first girl

"Oh that makes sense on why he has such a nice car." The first girl said

I just kept walking and of course I ran into into Ariel on my way to my lockers.

"Hey Girl I was looking from you." Ariel said hugging me

"Guess what?" Ariel said

"What is it this time?" I asked her not knowing what to expect

"I'm not pregnant!" She said with jazz hands

Ariel is the type of girl to live her life to the fullest and go to parties and have sex. She's your typical party girl, but she's a little bit more calm and laid back. My auntie say we balance each other out.

"Congratulations?" I said not knowing what I should say

"Yeah girl I took bout four of them pregnancy tests from the dollar tree and all of them were negative." She said sounding even more excited
