Yesterday we closed Romeo and Juliet. It was such a great time. I wish it would have never ended. But, I was very excited about the final show when Micheal proposed to mom. They are so happy together. Ever since then, they have been inseparable. Micheal stayed with us last night. I guess you can figure out what happened. But, I am very happy to have Micheal as my future step father. He has been like a father to me since the day I met him, now it will be official.Even though everyone is very happy, I am scared that my mother will overdo herself. They have decided that they want to have the wedding as soon as possible. I am worried that choreographing a ballet and planning a wedding will be too much for her. Grandmother and I will be helping as much as possible, but it continues to worry me.
It has been over a month since Jude and I broke up. He still hasn't said a word to me since. Jonatan continues to dote on me. Lucky for me, he hasn't asked anything.
I am very excited about A Winter's Tale. It is one of my favorite ballets and I love the character that I get to dance. This is also the first show that my father will be doing some of the choreography for. Him and Janelle (ugh!!) will be working together to teach the pas de duex of Perdita and Florizel and some of the intricate corps de ballet work. I wish that Janelle wasn't a teacher, but that's not my decision.
As for my family- Bryan and William just bought their own house and are currently moving their things out of their condo. Arabella and Don are doing just fine, and so are Amalia and Dan. Melody has began dating a guy at her college. She hasn't told the rest of the family yet, so I am the only person who knows. Aiden in getting ready to go off to college in the fall. Finally, Everett is still really interested in Madison, and it's obvious she is interested in him.
So far, everything is perfect. I wouldn't change it for the world.
Xoxo,
Marilyn Danaë Minnelli"Good morning, sunshine," my mother said when I walked into the kitchen. Her and Micheal were sitting on the couch cuddling as they enjoyed a cup of coffee. "You look cute this morning," she complimented my outfit. Since the weather was warming up, I began wearing dresses to school. Today I wore a long sleeve, cream, vintage band shirt under a v-neck, olive green, camisole dress. I pulled my curls out of my face with a hair scarf. For shoes, I wore a my Nike Air Force 1's. My accessories included my gold, moon necklace with matching star earrings, a scrunchie, and some rings.
"Thanks."
"Did you sleep well?" asked Micheal.
"Yes," I said as I began to make a yogurt parfait before school. I filled a bowl with vanilla Greek yogurt, granola, and strawberries, and snapped the lid on.
"I'm leaving," I said as I grabbed my book bag, dance bag, and keys.
"Bye, sweetie."
"Bye, Marilyn."
They were so in love. They were acting like teenagers. They didn't want to stop looking at each other, let alone be apart from each other. I had a feeling that they were going to be together all day.
I arrived at my college class early so I sat in my car and ate my parfait.
"Hey, dude," Luna said as she hopped into my front seat. This was a usual thing so it did not startle me.
"Hey."
"Hey guys," said Callie Ann as her and Joshua opened the back door.
"Hey," Jonatan completed the usual routine by sitting on the right side of the backseat.
