I woke up at six and began to get ready for school. I took a quick shower and washed my hair before starting on some makeup. I applied some concealer, mascara, brow gel, and lip gloss. I pulled my still wet hair into a messy bun. I zipped up a white, cropped hoodie and slipped into a pair of black, ripped jeans. I added a denim jacket and my Air Force 1's. I clipped on my star necklace and moon earrings, and slid a scrunchie and Pura Vida bracelets. I spritzed on some perfume, grabbed my Kanken book bag, and went downstairs at 6:45.

My mom was in the kitchen, so I peaked my head around the corner to tell her I was leaving. "Bye, mom."

"Okay. Umm- do you feel okay?"

     "Yes, I'm fine."

"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you?"

"Yes. I'm meeting Luna at Bloom Café and we're going to take the subway."

     "Okay. Be safe."

I walked out of my home and down the street to the small café. When I got there, Luna was already there with her normal Frappuccino. She wore a gray, oversized tee with skeletons skateboarding on it over a black, long sleeve turtleneck along with a pair of black leggings. Her hair was in a low messy bun and she wore her black vans. I quickly ordered a small, black coffee. Once my order was ready, we walked to the nearest subway station and took the next train to our school.

"Are you ready to deal with Cassie today?" Luna asked me as we sat on the train.

"Ugh, I try not to think about her."

"She's probably gonna come up and hug you and act like you guys are besties."

"If she does I'll just push her away. I can't even with her."

"I know. I am surprised that I haven't punched her yet. She is always making rude comments about how I'm a lesbian and I'm dating Sarah."

"I hate people like that. It is 2020 people!"

"I know! That's why on the show that Sarah came to see, I made sure her and her snoody, ass mother saw us kissing."

"I saw that. I was surprised her mom didn't tell my mom about it."

     "Me too."

Once the train pulled up to our stop, we got off and walked back up into the city. We walked the block to NYU quickly and got to class right on time.

"Omg! Marilyn!" Everly came up and hugged me. "I thought you would at least take today off."

"I'm fine. I just have to take it a little easy."

"Did you guys take the subway?" asked Jonatan.

     "Yeah."

"Luna, are you riding with Ian to the highschool?" asked Jonatan.

     "Don't I always."

"Do you want to ride with me, Marilyn?"

     "Sure."

"Let's get started!" Mr. Bowes shouted. "Good to have you back, Marilyn. Today, you and your partner need to finish your lab notebooks on the titration lab from last Thursday."

Jonatan and I took our seats beside each other to work on our notebooks. During certain moments, I would catch him fawning in me.

"Stop that. Geez! You act like you're never going to see me again."
