Subject: Revised Schedule for the week
     Good morning everyone. As some of you already know, Marilyn had a mild heart attack last night. We have spent the night in ICU and are currently being moved to a normal room. Marilyn had a catheterization performed this morning and luckily nothing too serious happened. She is still being monitored on the EKG, is on several medications through IV, and is on oxygen. The doctor has said that she should be released this afternoon if she continues to make good progress. Thank you all for your messages, thoughts, and prayers.

     Because of this, I have rearranged the schedule so we can get the best use out of rehearsals while she cannot be involved. I will not be there tonight so please make sure you read the schedule and make note of changes. Thank you all once again for understanding.

     After I was settled in the new room, I went back to sleep until ten. During that time, my mom left me with my grandmother and Aunt Amalia to go pick up my books and work from school. When I woke up, they let me change into something more comfortable than a hospital gown. I slipped into a pair of sweatpants, a sports bra, and a v-neck crop top so the patches could still be visible on my chest. I pulled my hair into a messy bun with a scrunchie so it was out of my face.

     Once I was comfortable, I then began on Chemistry work. All I had to do was finish my homework so I could have it ready to turn in the next day. In Trig, I had a quiz to do. Lucky for me, my last two classes were easy so I had no work to makeup in them. I was also lucky to be left handed. Where the catheter was put in my right wrist, I was still in minor pain and I knew that I could not write with that hand.

     I finished my work at one o'clock. For lunch, Aunt Amalia went to a near by restaurant and got us all a salad.

     After I was finished, I popped in my AirPods and watched the Royal Ballet's Swan Lake on YouTube. As I sat in the bed, my mother, my grandmother, and Amalia sat and talked. I realized how lucky I was as I watched Marianela Núñez. First of all, just to be alive. Second, to have many, many people there were who cared about me. Third, to have this amazing family who was there for me twenty-four seven. Fourth, to have an amazing team of doctors and nurses. Fifth, to have such an amazing mother. She really was the best one out there.
