This week has been awful. I haven't been able to dance and all of the junior company girls who are friends with Cassie hate me. But, I feel like the worse thing is how people haven't been treating me the same. Ever since my heart attack, everyone has been treating me like a fragile antique. They act as if I'm made of glass and that I could break at anytime. I wish they would treat me as usual.Anyways, last night Jonatan came to dinner with us again. Afterwards he came home with me and we just hung out in my room. It's not really a secret to my parents about us being a thing anymore. We just cuddled and watched a movie. It was nice. Jonatan is the only person who treats me the same.
Xoxo,
Marilyn Danäe MinnelliI threw on a pair of black Lululemon leggings and a green crop top before clipping on my earrings and necklace. I pulled my straightened hair into a 90's french twist with a clip. I slipped on my Nike Air Force 1's and my blue jean jacket before meeting my mother, grandmother, Arabella, Amalia, Mrs. Bethany, and Miss Amelia downstairs. Today was my mother's appointment to find a dress.
My mother was waiting at the bottom aid the staircase for me. She was wearing a mustard colored sweater with black leggings. She wore black vans and her usual jewelry- her butterfly necklace, gold watch, and earrings. Her hair was in a low bun with small curls framing her face.
"Are you ready to go, darling? Our appointment is at eleven."
"Yes."
"Come on everyone!" my mother shouted and everyone came out of the living room.
We all packed into Mrs. Bethany's van. Her and my grandmother were in the front; my mom and Arabella in the middle; and Miss Amelia, Amalia, and I in back. Of course, I was crushed in the middle. As we rode through the city, the adults talked.
Once we arrived, a young employee greeted us. "Hello, and welcome to Kleinfeld. Are you Audrey?"
"Yes," my mother shook her hand.
"Hi, I'm Dawn. So, who do we have with us today?" the young woman smiled.
"This is my mother, Ruby; my sisters, Arabella and Amalia; my bridesmaids, Amelia and Bethany; and my daughter and maid of honor, Marilyn."
"Nice to meet you all. Shall we get started?" she led us to a small area with couches, a bridal platform, and a mirror. "So, tell me about your fiancé and your wedding."
"I met my fiancé, Micheal, about three years ago and we hit it off right away. Eventually we started dating. He has been there for me and my family through everything. I had open heart surgery a couple years ago, and he was by my side the whole time. We had a complicated family affair earlier this year and he was very understanding and helped us through everything. We're getting married on May 10th in the Heritage House gardens."
"What are your colors?"
"Slate blue and blush, and very floral."
"Okay. Do you have any ideas on what dress you would like?"
"Not really. I would like some floral, lace detailing on it."
