Hello everyone! Micheal and I have a very important question to ask you all and I would like to invite you all to dinner tonight at 620 State at 6:00. I hope you all can make it! - Audrey
Of course I knew what they were going to ask everyone. She was going to ask them about being in the wedding. The group chat included Bryan, William, Arabella, Amalia, Dan, Don, Mrs. Bethany, Miss Amelia, Erin, Luna, Sophie, Mia, Everly, Callie Ann, and Jonatan.
At 5:00 I began to get ready. I pulled my hair into a loose side braid and pulled out some whispies to make it more natural. I smudged on my usual concealer, mascara, brow gel, and lip gloss. I then tied my orange floral, wrap skirt and a white blouse. My final touches were my butterfly necklace, gold hoop earrings, gray scrunchie, tan purse, and white Vans.
"Are you ready?" asked my mom as I came down the stairs. She wore a simple black blouse with khaki pants. Black heels, her purse, and jewelry accented the outfit. Micheal stood beside her in a black button up shirt and nice jeans.
"Yes."
"We're ready mom!" she shouted. "I guess you know what we're going to ask them?"
"Obviously."
"You haven't told anyone yet, right?"
"Nope."
"Good, I was especially wanting to surprise the girls."
"I'm coming," my grandmother glided down the stairs in a red, button up blouse, white pants, and black heels.
"Let's go then!" Micheal rushed us all out the door and to his car. My mother hopped in the front seat while grandmother and I slid into the back.
The ride there, grandmother, mom, and Micheal carried on a conversation. It wasn't very interesting, so I scrolled through Instagram silently.
When we arrived, Micheal parallel parked and we walked to the restaurant. "Hi, we have a reservation for Minnelli."
"Right this way," she lead us to a separate room since there were nineteen people. We were the first ones there. Micheal and my mother sat across from my grandmother and I.
Eventually everyone arrived and was seated. The waitress came and took our drink orders. As usual my mother ordered red wine, along with Micheal, grandmother, Arabella, and Amalia.
After everyone ordered, my mother began her speech. "I guess everyone is wondering why we asked you all here. As everyone knows, Micheal and I will be getting married at the Heritage House gardens on May 10th. We have spent this week thinking about who we want involved, and we would like to have you all be a part of our wedding."
"Ooh! Here comes the cast list!" joked Bryan.
"That's what it feels like. My maid of honor will be Marilyn and Amalia, Arabella, Bethany, and Amelia will be my other bridesmaids."
"My groomsmen will be Bryan, William, Dan, Don, and Jonatan."
"Now, we both wanted to have some girls hold garlands as we walked through so that is what Erin, Luna, Callie Ann, Everly, Sophie, and Mia will be doing. Also we wanted to ask, Amelia and Bethany, if Alexander and Annika would be our ring bearer and flower girl?"
"I'm sure they would be delighted!" exclaimed Amelia.
"Great. Micheal and I will be setting up times for the guys to get their tuxes and for the girls to get their dresses. Thank you all! You don't know what this means to us."
