7-Missing the old you!

{3 years ago Shoto POV}

"Come on (Y/n) let's hurry to our bench outside before the others steal it from us!" A young and cheery Koimih Ako says to her slightly shorter girlfriend as she pulls her out the door rushing down the hall.
     "I wish a girl would love me like that! Why do I have to be so single!?" A classmate says with self pity.
     "You'll get one. Some day. Just wait she'll adore you." A small Shoto Todoroki says with longing in his eyes as he looks towards the two girls out of sight girls. He walks out the door as the classmate says his thanks for the mental boost. I wish she would laugh and smile at me like that and laugh with me when I would hug her and tell her jokes. Maybe I can get with her when they break up. Hopefully. Who am I kidding? No one would want my scar face giving them a kiss. Even when they're in love with me. Todoroki thinks as he walks to the lunchroom searching for the two girls at their bench. Then finding it and sitting down starting to eat his soba as thoughts run inside his head. She could still possibly like me. Did say she liked me when we were younger. But of course, I didn't want any romance, I'm such a dumbbutt! I like her SO MUCH and of course she gets with someone the day before I was gonna confess! He starts to get angry at his own past doings, concerning the two girls.
     "Sho? You okay there? You broke your plastic fork. In half." A concerned (Y/n) asks leaning over the table to poke his forehead and he flinched at the sudden touch making her jump.
     "I'm fine, (Y/n). Just thinking." He says looking down at the broken utensil in his hand. "I'm gonna go get a new fork. Koimih can you come with me real quick?" He asks while getting up and Koimih nods and gets up as well. They head to the door but he stops her. "How long do you plan on being her girlfriend? You don't have a quirk to protect her if she gets into trouble. She's better off with someone like me. Strong and able to protect her with my quirk. So before she gets too attached you should break up with her and let me date her. Don't tell (Y/n) what I've said to you or I WILL freeze you. Or make and exception to burn you." He says coldly and walks in to get a fork. Coming back out and seeing her deep in thought.
     "Why? Why should I break up with her? She loves me and I love her! I will get strong and be able to protect her from the villains who haunt our society. I'll do what I can!" She spit venom as she speaks to me with anger.
     "You can get stronger but you can never fully protect her from them. You're quirkless and couldn't even standup for yourself and her if a villain tried to get to her. So let her go. Don't be a fool." Shoto says before walking back to the bench with a small smile.
     "You guys okay? You took a little long." (Y/n) asks tilting her head. He nods and finishes his soba before the bell rings and head back to class.

(Y/n) POV

     "I love this date Koimih! The setting sun, the peep frogs chirping, the smell of the mowed grass, the ice cream, and of course you!" (Y/n) says happily as the two girls sit on a tall small blanket at the local park.
     "Glad you like it! Now surrender the rest of your ice cream or face the wrath of my tickles!" Koimih yells jumping up and chasing her girlfriend before they both trip laughing at their clumsiness. (Y/n) gasps and covers Koimih's mouth and point to a rabbit under a nearby bush.
     "It's a cute wittle bunny wabbit! It's SO CUTE!" She whisper yells startling the rabbit making it dash off. (Y/n) looks to be on the brink of tears at the rabbit's action, Koimih chuckles at her girlfriend.
     "You're too cute. My Bunny~" Koimih says wrapping her arms around (Y/n)'s waistband hugging her close as she walks back to the blanket.
     "Bunny? That's a cute nickname! What can I call you, Koimih? I don't want to call you fish that would be weird." (Y/n) questions as Koimih leans in and kisses her on the lips as they both flush at the touch.
     "Girlfriend." Is all she replies.

{2 years ago (Y/n) POV}

     "Koimih are you sure we should be kissing out here? My parents are okay with us kissing and hanging out in my room. They don't mind. They said it reminds them of their high school days. Bleh." She says before getting her lips taken by another kiss blushing darkly.
     "Just make it more fun. You're wearing the necklace I got you?" She says fiddling with the (f/c) rose attached to the chain around her neck. (Y/n) nods and kisses Koimih again. "The added silence and the sparkle in your eyes as the dim lights hit them. And it's just you. And me. Alone~!" Koimih says flirtatiously and kisses her girlfriend again.
     "Hey! What are you two girls doing over there!?" A gruff and angry voice says to them across the alleyway. Koimih looks ticked off.
     "Kissing. So go away. And mind your own d*** business." She snaps at the man. He smirks down at the sassy girl across from him.
     "You could work." Is all he says before rushing at them both with a knife with an evil grin. (Y/n) steps in front of Koimih and tries to use her recently found quirk. Her chain knife appears but only half of the chain comes alive, making it difficult for far range attacks. She rushes to him to try and land a few swings but is quickly pushes aside to the alleyway wall and looks in horror as her girlfriend is stabbed in the stomach.
     "KOIMIH! NO! KOIMIH!?" She franticly screams as she sees her girlfriend be quickly be taken away as she looks at her with fearful and scared eyes. "NOOOO!" She screams crying out waterfalls of tears as her only lover is taken away.

Koimih POV

     "(Y/n)! I'm right here! What are you screaming at!? I'm in front of you! I hate seeing you cry! Please don't cry Bunny! What are you doing to her!? Why can't she see me!? And why is she screaming at the rooftop." Koimih asks the masked man who is smirking at the two girls troubles.
     "I'm using my illusion quirk in her. She sees that I stabbed you and then took off with your body. You're going to help me if you ever want her to see you again. First we'll get you a quirk, since I can already tell you don't have one. And then you help with our cause for a few years and then you can come back to your little Bunny." He says with an evil smirk as Koimih holds a look of shock and fear on her face.
     "What is you cause?" Koimih asks after a few moments of silence pass. "And how am I gonna get a quirk?" She continues.
     "Have you ever heard of the League of Villains? Or One for All?" He says as they leave the alleyway as a still crying (Y/n) runs into her house.

{4 months later Shoto POV}

     "Koimih!? Are you there!?" (Y/n) shouts as she walks in the nearby wood of the park with a bored looking Shoto Todoroki in tow.
     "We've been searching for months. I think she'd answer by now, (Y/n). Maybe we should head-" He starts before an angry (Y/n) stops him.
     "NO! Just a few more minutes Shoto. Please! I know I'll find her if I keep looking. I don't want her to think I gave up on her if she comes back and sees I'm sitting at home and not out looking for her." She rambles as she looks at the boy. He sighs and nods giving into the girls pleas.
This is pointless. Koimih is dead. Why can't she see that. She's only hurting herself worse by hanging onto her.  He thinks as he finally voices his thoughts. "I know you don't want to hear this but... what if she's...gone. What if she doesn't come back, (Y/n)? What will you do. Your therapist doesn't like that you're still looking after four months since her disappearance." Shoto says as the girl desperately screams out the name of her missing lover.
     "She's not gone! I can feel it. She alive. I don't care what that dumb therapist says she can go fall in a hole for all I care. She only cares about being paid, same as everybody who lives." (Y/n) says holding back tears as she looks at the boy.
     "Please (Y/n). You need to move on. This isn't healthy for you. I know you cared for Koimih and I did too. But I don't think she's coming back. She's gone. Please come back to reality. For me, please. I don't like seeing you sad and hurt. I miss your happy smile and the beautiful sound of your laughter. Please come back to me." Shoto asks quietly as he wraps the girl in a hug and places his chin on her head as she sniffles from her tears.
     "I-I c-can't S-Sho-to. S-she was t-the o-only one who l-loved me rom-mantically (I can't Shoto. She was the only one who loved me romantically.)." She says as she sniffles and wipes tear after tear from her face. He sighs.
      "She isn't the only one who's in love with you,  (Y/n). I've loved you for the longest time. And I don't plan to see you broken over her because she can't come back." He says looking her dead in the eyes as she looks at him shocked.
     "N-no. Y-you can't love me. Y-you didn't want me when I asked you out in the p-past." She fumbles with her words because she's still calming down.
     "Which was my biggest mistake. I was foolish. Then when I was gonna tell you how I felt. Koimih has gotten to you first. She couldn't protect you. And you couldn't protect her. So when you needed me the most I wasn't there to protect you." He says and without his bowing hit a trigger.
     "So you're are the one who threatened Koimih to break up with me! She said she felt sad because she was called weak and quirkless! It was you! How dare you decide what's best for me!? You didn't care. You just wanted someone to call your own because you had no one!" She rambles angrily at the slightly cowering boy.
     "I just wanted to help you and keep you safe! I was jealous because I had wanted you to be my girlfriend for the longest time but she asked you out the day before I was going to! If I knew this would happen I would've never done that!" He rambles trying to justify his past actions.
     "I'm sorry, Todoroki. But you now mean nothing to me. Leave me alone and never talk to me again." She says angrily as she gives him a angered look as tears still fall from her (e/c) orbs.
     "N-no! Please! I can't lose you, (Y/n)! You're all I have. I have no other friends." He says fearful of the words he just heard tears at the corner of his heterocromania eyes. She looks at him with pure hatred in her eyes.
     "You lost me after after you threatened Koimih." Is all she says before she exits the woods leaving the boy alone for the first time.
No. No! How could I lose her! And I can't ever get her back. I'm such a FOOL! He screams out his thoughts in his head, as he screams in the woods.
