23-Back to school!

{this is late in the night of the battle with Stain (when they all get in the hospital)}
⚠️THIS IS NOT CANNON THAT BAKUGOU KNOWS ABOUT THE HOSU ATTACK BUT PART OF THE STORY BECAUSE HE'S CONCERNED FOR (Y/N)⚠️

~Bakugou POV~

Stay quiet Katsuki. You don't want the pair of jeans to know you're snooping. I think to myself as I hide out of sight.
"What happened and is she hurt majorly?" I hear the pair of jeans say as I hear a call start up. A video call I assume.
"It was the hero killer: Stain. He stabbed her in the stomach. Three inches above her right hip and exits out her back going across to her left hip. And then she sacrificed her wings tattoo for her classmate whom Stain was about to stab. Ingenium's younger brother." I hear the voice of (Y/n)'s mom reply and my eyes go wide in shock.
D***it Four eyes! You got (Y/n) hurt! ILL KILL YOU LATER! After I know if she's alright.
"Is she alive? If she isn't....I take full blame because I didn't stop her from going." I hear the pair of jeans say as silence falls.
"She's alive. She immediately had her healing dragon heal all her internal wounds when she got stabbed in the stomach. She got stabbed because she was pushing one of her classmates who was there out of the way. We don't know his identity though, we didn't want to pry. The doctors said that if she hadn't healed herself....she would have been dead 10 minutes after she was stabbed." Hearing this made me lean on the wall in shock.
Painting....could've died? No...she's too strong and stubborn. The grim reaper himself would've gave her back. I think as I refocus on the conversation.
"We've decides that we'll intern her the rest of the week. So she can rest, she'll still train her a** off because she's stubborn though, and because we've grounded her. Is that okay with you?" I hear (Y/n)'s father continue and silence falls.
"That's fine with me. Eraserhead said he had to talk to the other students as well about Endeavor being the cover up so that they don't lose their abilities to become heroes. So no one can know that it was four UA freshmen who defeated the hero killer." Jeanist day and I give a quiet sigh of relief before I walk back to the bedroom.
"Thanks for not dying, Painting. I'll see you soon."
I think as I curl up in her empty bed and hug the pillow that smells sweetly of her.

{Time skip to the return to UA}

~(Y/n) POV~

*BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!*
I groan as I sluggish get out of bed slightly sore from the weeks events. I poke the now healed stab wound that's in my stomach and at my back. I sigh before getting ready and heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my hair. I look into the mirror and see the hair that's finally been unstuck from how it was styled by one of Best Jeanist's workers.
"Morning cupcake! Did your hair finally go back to normal? Jeanist said it was part of your punishment from him. Besides, your hair looked sexy like that." Mom says and I chuckle.
"I did kinda like how it looks. I liked it wavy like that. His workers definitely know how to make hairstyles last." I say as I poke my hair and mom leaves to the kitchen. I follow and hold my blazer in my arms. "How's the new wings and Blizzard doing for you? Got used to them yet?" Mom asks and I smile.
"Yes! They're great. Blizzard has a great character and I like having bad butt falcon wings! They're so much better than my raven wings. I can fly faster and go for longer periods of time without getting tired! I've already found out what Blizzard's favorite food is!" I say happily as I ramble to my mother who takes in every word.
"And what is that?" Mom asks me curiously and I laugh before I respond to her.
"Goldfish." I reply and she laughs along with me as dad walks in the room very confused at our outbursts. "I've got a question. Can I fly all the way to school? No one can notice my wings since I lost my raven ones and got falcon ones. If not it's totally okay! I completely understand!" I ask and they think for a moment before they nod. I jump up happily.
"Just don't forget you come straight back home after. You're still grounded after all." Dad says and I groan.
"I know. I know. I love you both. Bye! See you later!" I say as I scramble out the door after grabbing my (f/c) back pack after putting on my shoes. I hear their shouts of response as I run down the streets and toward the gates of UA. I don't want to fly today. I just want to run and not stop until I see my friends again. I think as I dash with a huge smile on my face as I feel the air fly past my face. I see the prestigious school and start to run faster and then I gasp out loud in happiness. So does she.
"(Y/N)!!!" Mina yells as we run into each other's arms and jump up and down before we both start chattering and earn a few stares and laughs as we talk. "Oh! My! Gosh! I've missed you so much! Did my best friend miss me as much as I did?" Mina asks excitedly and I chuckle at her question.
"I definitely missed you too Mina. I've been so bored lately." I explain as we walk to our classroom. She doesn't get to ask why before we see
"HAHAHAHAHA WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR BAKUGOU!?" Sero asks as he and Kirishima laughs at Bakugou's business styled hair.
"Shut up you morons! It's stuck like this." Bakugou grumbles as he glares at the two boys. Kaminari comes up and greets Mina and me as we watch the show play our before us. I miss what they say next because I was greeting Kaminari but I hear Bakugou's reply to whatever it was. "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME YOU IDIOTS!?" He yells and his hair floofs back to normal.
"HAHAHA IT'S BACK!"
"THERE IT GOES!"
I walk up to them and sigh as I try to put his spikey hair flat and Mina laughs. "I don't know why you were complaining. I like how our hair had turned out." I say and then smile at them as I drape my arm around Kat's shoulder. "How was your guy's internships?" I ask as I tilt my head in a closed eyed smile.
"I've missed your smile." Kaminari says and we, minus Bakugou, all laugh at this.
"I've missed you too Denki. Flirt with any girls while you were interning?" I chuckle at his defeated expression but laugh when he grumbles a yes.
"Oi, Painting. I need to talk to you later. Away from these idiots." Bakugou says as he sits down and looks at me. I nod my head.
"Anyway! Who wants to go get food later? So we can talk about our internships and hang out." Mina day excitedly.
"Sure!"
"Whatever dumba**es."
"Count me in!"
"Sorry I can't." I reply last and they all look at me confused and disappointed.
"Why not? I need to catch up with my bestie! I've been bestie-deprived!" Mina says as she clings onto my side and I chuckle.
"Um..I've..maybe..kinda...sorta...been...grounded?" I state and they look at me shocked.
"How'd you-of all people-get grounded." Kirishima asks confused and the others nod in agreement.
"Uhh...Hey look Aizawa's here! Time to go to our seats and start the day!" I say as I rush to my seat and sit down. Great! Now they'll think I'm hiding something. Good job (Y/n)! You sound suspicious. I sigh and look at my confused teacher before he refocuses to the lesson.
"The next thing you need to focus on...." Aizawa says and then stops leaving us at the end of our seats. "The end of term tests." He finishes and I sigh out in relief as he continues. "You will need to pass both the written test and exercise test to be able to partake in to the reward at the end. A summer training camp." I look up at him happily at the news of a training camp.
I get to train and I get to chill! Well knowing this school I'll barely get a chance to. I think and then lean my chin on my hand in defeat as my friends freak out for not paying attention in class due to everything happening to us thus far. "I'll need to study, train my quirk, think of possible things that they'll do to us for the exercise portion of the test, try to juggle my upcoming homework with all my st-"
"SHUT UP DEKU!" Bakugou yells and Midoriya freaks out.
"BAKUGOU IT WAS ME! NOT MIDORIYA! SO TELL ME TO SHUT MY TRAP AND NOT HIM!" I yell at the spiky haired boy who looks slightly shocked at my burst. He grumbles before he sits back down. "Thank you, Kat. Sorry, Midoriya." I say as I see a slightly flustered and confused Midoriya as I sit down and grab a piece of paper and a pen and start writing down things I'll need to study and things I need to train on. I'm 9th in the class, I'm glad I pushed the grape head to 10th place. I'm so focused I don't notice someone walking up to me as I mumble and write.
"You look sexy when you're deep in thought.~" Kaminari whispers in my ear and I shiver and blush from embarrassment, making all my tattoos pop off my skin. Everyone looks confused at my new pair of wings and the sitting tiger looking at me confused.
"Did you get new tattoos while we were interning?" Mina asks as she walks up. I calm down enough to pull my wings down from my face.
"Yea. I-I got new wings and Blizzard." I explain and I rub the back of my neck sheepishly.
