Epilogue-Reaper vs. Mosaic

~(Y/n) POV~

It's been two years since my class graduated from UA. I've been training nonstop as the days get closer to when I have to fight her. Reaper, once known as Koimih Ako before she became a villain, an old girlfriend I had when I was in early middle school.
I joined FatGum's hero agency along with my friend Eijiro Kirishima. We work good as sidekicks for now but FatGum says that soon we'll probably move up to being pros. He's a chill dude.
"(Y/n)! The punching dummy can only take so much before you kill him. Easy with the chain-knife!" Kirishima breaks me from my thoughts and I look up at his worried expression.
"Sorry. I was thinking too much. Still a bad habit of mine." I say with a light smile and he nods.
"You nervous? It happens tomorrow." He says and I stiffen a little.
"Y-yeah. I don't know what to do. I know I end up killing her and it's for the good of civilians but...I just feel like I'm the villain in this situation. She's just doing what she thinks is right so that she can be happy again." I confess and lean my head on his chest as he pets my hair to calm me down.
"(Y/n). You're one of the best people I know. You'll get through this and you'll win. I know you will. After knowing you for years I understand why Reaper doesn't want to let you go. You're broken but so perfect." He says and I chuckle at him.
"You're so cheesy at the worst times." I say trying to lighten the mood and he laughs.
"It made you feel better though so that's good enough for me." He says and I smile at him as I lay my chin on his chest and look up at him with (e/c) eyes. "Go home early. Toyomitsu knows and he'll understand. Sleep and regain energy. You'll need it." He says sweetly but sternly and I huff.
"Fine. You're a stubborn man so I'm not winning this one." I say with a smirk as I grab my duffel bag and see him grinning widely.
"See you tomorrow, (Y/n)!" He says with a sharky smile and I smile back.
"Bye, Ei!" I exclaim as I walk out the door and head to my small apartment after I changed into civilian clothes. Veggie soup. Tasty-ish. I think as I get out a can and pour it into a pot before cooking it and eating it. I grab a pair of pajamas and quickly take a shower before I hop onto my bed and get under the covers.
Please let me do good tomorrow. I wish with a sigh as I close my eyes and drift to sleep.

—————(time skip)————-

"Good morning you two! Ready for patrol?" FatGum says excitedly as me and Eijiro walk up in our costumes.
"Yep!" Eijiro exclaims as I nod my head.
"I completely understand if during the day you have to dash off and go fight that one villain, (Y/n). Well try to stay at the sides and help civilians if we can." FatGum says as he turns to me and I nod my head.
"Thank you. I appreciate it." I give a shaky breath and he roughly pats my shoulder in a gesture of encouragement.
"Great! Let's get going!" Toyomitsu says as he walk to the door of the agency as he eats a pork bun.
We chat here and there as we walk around the city. I feel this hair in the back of my neck stand on end at times before ignoring it and going back to my job.
"Attack at the park. Pros are there but she refuses to fight until 'Mosaic' comes and fights her." FatGum's radio says and I stiffen.
     "Get everyone at the park safe and keep them away from the battle. I trust you both. I'm happy to have you as teammates." I say with a smile as I unfurl my falcon wings.
     "Don't talk like you'll die." FatGum says with a small frown and I smile.
     "Keep them safe." I say before flying off and towards the small park where I see many pros failing to land hits on Reaper as she dodged them easily.
     "It's about time you showed up! These idiot don't take hints too well!" Reaper smiles at me while she dodged a hit as I land.
     "If we're going to fight give them three minutes to clear out people. That way you can go all out." I say with a glare and she huffs. I look at my friends who had been fighting her earlier and they look hurt? And almost scared for me.
     "Tick tock! Hurry up!" She ushers the heros and I look at them and nod before they all scamper to help citizens. "Y'now, I really hope that this battle goes the way I want it to. You and me. Hand in hand. As we kill all the stupid heroes who try and stop us!" She say with bloodlust in her orange eyes.
     "No. I will not be joining you and I will not kill any heroes. I am not a villain." I state with a small glare and she looks at me with sheer hatred.
     "They better have found as many as they could, because their time's now up. I'm gonna kill you!" She says and summons her scythe and slashes a tree and it slowly turns black starting from the cut before it falls to the ground and makes a black dust cloud. "I've not really seen how it looks when it's used on people. I guess you'll be a good volunteer." She say with an evil grin as she lunges towards me with a heavy glare and sadistic smile.
     I quickly dodge the attack and her scythe hits just where I was standing and is now stuck as she tries to pull it. I roundhouse her and she tumbled back a little before laughing.
     "You're so cute. You always liked when we played hero and villains. Seems the roles have swapped, hasn't it?" Reaper asks with a small head tilt before she dashed at me again with a new scythe in her hand and I quickly use my twin swords to block it and push it away as I slash at her.
     "Heroes. Villains. We're all just aiming for something. Money. Fame. Glory. Happiness. We're all just human." I say as I land a hit with a forceful kick and she flies back and hits the wall in the middle of the park and breaks it in impact.
     "Touching. Best quote of the year! Too bad I don't care about it." She finishes with spitting out one of her teeth covered in blood. "I can't wait to fill the streets with your blood! Seeing the people scream as they see a useless sidekick be killed by a villain. Pathetic! All of them." She spat darkly as she makes her skeleton wings appear and flying at me before I can react in time.
     I struggle in her grasp a little before I start to punch her with all my might.
     "You're so weak. No wonder you couldn't protect me. You're nothing!" She says and I growl before punching her hard on the cheek and we fall to the ground at the force of my punch.
     "My weakness makes me strong!" I yell at her as I unfurl my wings and start to swing my swords at her and she dodged them with a grin.
     "No. You're just weak." She counters as she summon her scythe and flies toward me with a devilish look in her eye.
      I did the one thing you should never do in a battle. I blinked. I scream in pain as my leg gets broken and twisted at an odd angle.
     "Oopsie! I thought your leg looked out of place so I fixed it for you. I guess I was wrong." She grins evilly as I lunge at her and she didn't get enough reaction time before I start punching her harshly and the bruise start to show in her skin rather quickly as we fight fist to fist as we fly.
     I push her back and quickly fly upwards. "Koi! Time to pounce!" I yell as the tattoo appears off my skin and sits at my shoulder before he jumps high and slowly falls back into me and I transform.
      "Interesting idea. Let's just hope you hold out long enough." She grins before stabbing me in the left arm, just below Koi's tattoo, and then also landing a hard punch to my face.
     I wince a little as I glare at her. "I'm sorry. For everything. You never deserved this." I say with sadness as I slowly collect energy from the five elemental tails.
     "You are the reason I'm like this. If I wasn't promised a quirk that I could protect you with the guy probably would've killed me." Reaper states harshly with a glare as her skeleton wings clatter a little.
"Do you ever wish you could go back?" I ask as I feel the tingle signaling that all the power has strongly been stored. I look at her and see her deep in thoughts as her orange eyes look at me conflicted.
"No." She states and I sigh.
"Quirk or no quirk. You were one of my favorite people. I'm happy I got to know you, Koimih." I say with a small smile and she glares at me.
"I'll never surrender. You'll have to kill me!" She says and lunges towards me like I knew she would.
"ELEMENTAL FALCON!!!" I yell as I grab her and start to fly towards the ground as I use stored power and hit her with my tails packed full of energy before we hit the ground and both visibly shake from the loss of energy from us both.
"N-never ending nightmare!" She yells and quickly touches my forehead and I feel dizzy and try not to scream. "H-how?" She says and looks at me in confusion and horror.
"R-Right now is my nightmare. I-I've been p-prepare for years after I was told about this day. I-I wanted to make sure I b-beat you." I struggle to not scream as I pin her down my her neck. "I train with mind manipulators and got myself ready for this attack." I say and lean my head down and touch foreheads with her.
She lets out a terrible scream as her eyes flicker from black to orange as she struggles ferociously and damages herself more than I have altogether during this battle.
"Everyone has nightmares and fears. We just have to learn to face them." I say as she starts to stop struggling and her eyes flicker and slowly start to fade into a black orange.
"I-if I'm gonna die...so will you." Reaper says as she gasps for air as I pin her down against the dirt. "Bye bye bunny." She says with what strength she has left and I feel a pain shoot through my stomach.
"Ack!" I cough up a small amount of blood and onto Reapers face as I see her glossed over orange eyes.
Koimih Ako. Is dead. For real this time. She had used what was left of her strength to summon her scythe and the tip of it pierced a small bit of my stomach. The scythe quickly disappears as her life does too while my stomach slowly starts to turn black around the wound.
I feel the tears and quilt quickly come over me as I see her like this. "NOOO! KOIMIH! I'M SO SORRY! I should've protected *sniff* you! I *sniff* was supposed to keep you *sniff* happy! It's *sniff* my fault! Koimih, I'm so sorry!" I cry as I cradle her dead body as I rock back and forth on the ground. "Koimih! I'll *sniff* miss you so much! You *sniff* were always what made my day before you disa-*sniff*-ppeared! And I'm the reason you died! You were my hero and I killed you!" I cry out as I pet her hair in an attempt to make her wake up.
"P-PLEASE! Come back! You could've been a great hero! *sniff* I miss you! WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HEROES TOGETHER!" I wail as I hold her tight to me as the adrenaline slowly starts to leave as I hold the stiffening body.
"(Y-Y/n)? S-shes gone. We need to get you to a hospital before you die. C-come on." I turn my head and faintly see FatGum through my tears.
"I-I'm so sorry. I'll see you again one day, Koimih." I give a small kiss to her forehead before placing her down and wiping my tears with dirt covered hands.
"Let's get you to a hospital." He says and I nod weakly as the adrenaline decided to leave.
     I scream in pain as I clutch my stomach and feel the pain of my broken leg and the cuts on my skin.
I don't remember much of what happened on the way to the hospital. But I do remember seeing five people looking at me as I'm rushed away on a stretcher as I hear a bloodcurdling scream. I think it was mine.

————(time skip)———

Beep! ....Beep! .....Beep! I slowly open my eyes and blink a few times as I look around the room. There are gifts, flowers, cards, cupcakes (oooo), and what made me smile was seeing my five best friends all sleeping in the room.
Mina has her head in Hanta's lap as he leaned against a gracefully sleeping Denki (his face was pressed against the wall and he looked smooshed), Eijiro was leaned against the side of a chair as he held my cat plushie in a (f/c) sleeping bag in one hand as his other was laying on the floor, and lastly Katsuki was laying his head on the bed as he sat in the chair.
"Dorks." I say quietly with a small chuckle before trying to sit up and actually being successfully for once. Fang? Heal what's left. If you feel up to it. And then you can go and hang out with Hanta. I instruct the white and green dragon and instantly feel my stomach and leg feel a little better.
That's all I could do safely without you passing out and possibly dying. She says and perched on my arm.
Wait here until I'm out of the room to go over to him. If they ask where I went, I'm at the cafeteria. I say and she nods as I get out of bed and noticed my leg in one of those cast boot things and shake my head in annoyance as I limp to the door and quietly open and close it before walking to the elevator and going down to the cafeteria.
"What can I help you with?" The lunchlady asks and I smile.
"Something light but tasty." I say and she nods before quickly giving me a bowl of soup. "Thank you very much. Have a good day." I say and head to a small table and sit down and quietly eat or drink my soup as I think back and remember what happened for me to get here.
"(Y/n)?" I look up at the voice and smile.
"Hello Rei, how are you? It's been forever since I last seen you." I say with a small smile and she sits down.
"I'm good thank you. How are you settling in? You were in a coma for a little over a half a year." She says and I look at her shocked.
"Really?" I ask curiously and she nods her head.
"I tried to see you when I could. Me and Shoto would visit you at the same time also. You made a lot of people worry." The white haired Todoroki says and I nod.
"I feel bad now. I left without telling my five friends where I went." I say sheepishly and Rei smiles a little.
"Go back to them. I'll return your bowl for you." She states and I nod before heading back to my room.
Ding! The elevator responds as it opens and I smile.
"Took you long enough to wake up. You scared us dumba**." Katsuki walks up to me with tears in his eyes and hides his face in the crook of my neck so the others don't see him cry.
"We all missed you. We thought you were gonna die." Denki says and joins the hug along with the rest of the group and I smile.
"You're not getting rid of me that easily." I respond with happy tears racing down my face. "I missed you all too. I don't think I could live without you idiots." I croak out and feel them all relax and chuckle a little at my statement.
"Says the idiot who got stabbed." Hanta says and I laugh.
"Nearly all of us had got stabbed at least once. Welcome to the club!" I punch his shoulder lightly and he fake winces.
"True." He says and I chuckle.
"You hungry?" Mina asks and I nod with a grin.
"I could use another soup. Ooh! And maybe a hot chocolate!" I start to ramble as we crowd into the elevator and they laugh at me.
"It's glad to have you back, (Y/n)." Denki says and I smile.
"I'm glad to be back." I give him a closed eyes smile as the doors close and we face our reflections.
Six friends all living a life happily.
