"Should we really do this to her, (M/n)?" "Oh hush! She'll get a kick out of it afterward!" I wake slightly to familiar whispers but keep sleeping because I stayed up playing Minecraft with Denki and Mina the previous night. BANG! I jolt up in a panic as streamers and cheers fill my dorm room. "THE F***?!" I yell in a panic as I see two people I didn't expect to see. "Language, (Y/n)." "Mom? Dad? Why the heck are you at the dorms? At," I pause to look at my alarm clock. "5:00 in the morning?" I ask tiredly as my eyes stay wide. "Well we asked Shota if we could come and scare you awake for your birthday!" Mom say happily and I sigh in annoyance. "That man." I scoff but tiredly get up and head towards my closet. "What are you doing?" Dad asks and I give him an obvious look. "I have school. It's just another day." I say with a yawn as I crack the door before I change. "But you're 16 now!" Dad exclaims in slight disbelief at my unacknowledgement for the "important" day. "Just a number!" I say as I walk out and quickly but neatly do my tie before pulling what I can of my (h/l) hair into a hair tie/brushing it out and leaving it down. "Come on (Y/n)." My mother whines slightly. "You've done this every birthday since the incident and it's not fair to us." She continues and I sigh. "Well I'm sorry that I ex girlfriend being kidnapped on my birthday scarred me and made me not really care for it much anymore. I never feel older so why should it matter?" I ask as I pull on my socks. "We still want you to open the present that we got you though." My dad says with a sigh as he hands over a small wrapped box to me. I smile at them gently before I tear away the paper and see a small purple box before opening it.

"They're beautiful!" I say with a bright smile to them before I put them on. "Thank you!" I exclaim as I wrap them both in a tight hug. "You're welcome!" Mom says happily before she starts to pepper my face with many kisses, making me internally groan. "And we also brought you homemade straw-" THE BEST PART ABOUT HER BIRTHDAY IS THE STRAWBERRY PANCAKES! Fang says as she quickly crawls off my arm and then rushed over to the covered bowl of strawberry pancakes. "Greedy dragon." My dad states with a playful scoff and I roll my eyes playfully before opening the box as the dragon grabs two before taking a bite. "Possibly." I say with a small laugh as I start to eat the pancake with my bare hands. "We brought a fork for you?" Mom questions answered I nod. "I know. But this is more fun." I say with a teasing smile before I finish off the pancake and wipe my mouth before brushing my teeth. "Can we walk down with you?" Dad asks and I nod in agreement before grabbing my school bag and placing Fang, who's still finishing off one of the pancakes, on my shoulder before walking out with them. "Morning (Y— Mr. and Mrs. (L/n)! Hi!" Mina says happily as she walks over from the table. "Hello Mina. You look fluffy today!" Mom greets before lightly ruffling the girl's pink locks, making her giggle. "What're you guys doing here?" Denki asks curiously and dad glances at me before he smiles. "We has bought something for (Y/n) and wanted to give it to her." Dad states and I silently thank him for not telling. "What'd you get her?" Eijiro asks with a sharky grin and I tilt my head so they can see the earrings better, making them "Ooo" at the sight. "You look as pretty as always (Y/n)." Hanta says with a smile and I nod with a smile before thanking him. "Well we'll be taking our leave. Have a good day, cupcake." My dad says with a smile before he kisses my head then leave through the door. "Don't flirt too much, (Y/n)." Mom teases and I blush slightly but nod before she leaves. "They annoy the hell out of me." Katsuki scoffs and I roll my eyes lightly at his statement. "They're family. Can't help but love them...even if they're very weird and clingy." I state with a laugh before pulling on my shoes. "Ready?" I ask but stop as I glare slightly and Denki and Mina. "Did you eat breakfast?" The two look down at their feet and shuffle them slightly. "Here." I say with a sigh as I hand them two breakfast bars each before starting to walk out the door. "Who's excites for hero training today? I know I'm pumped!" Eijiro questions and I grin excitedly. "Me! I can't wait to have some fun and train! I hope well do like a rescue or something." I chatter excitedly and they all look at me with a small smile as I talk. "Well I'll make sure to kick your a** then, Painting." Katsuki says with a smirk and I grin. "Naughty, naughty kitty." I joke as I boop his nose, making him blush slightly. "Aw he blushing." Denki teases and Katsuki whips his head around with a glare. "SHUT YOUR TRAP DUNCE FACE!" He snarls and I roll my eyes playfully before dragging Katsuki to his seat before going to sit in mine. "Good morning (Y/n)." Shoto says with a light smile as he passes me and places a neatly folded square of paper on my desk as he walks by. "Morning." I say before opening it and reading.
