MINA: Double Proposal

~(Y/n) POV~

When would be a good time? We just got back from America two weeks ago. I have the ring but I just don't know when I should ask her. I love her so much but what if she doesn't think she's ready? What if she doesn't love me as much anymore? What if she found someone else while I was gone? No, Mina's not like that. I trust her. I think with a grim face as I pace around my office.
     "You okay Painting?" Katsuki's voice says from the doorway and I turn from my thoughts.
     "Yeah I'm good. Just...thinking." I say with a smile.
     "So when you gonna ask her?" He says bluntly and I chuckle.
     "I don't know honestly. I told her I'd marry her but what if she doesn't think she's ready? I'll wait until she is of course but it still worries me. What if she doesn't love me as much as before I left? What if she doesn't want to marry me?" I ramble and he gives me a small glare.
     "Get that 'What if?' bulls*** out of here. While you were gone, her smiles weren't as bright. She didn't go out and have fun with dunce face and tape arms. She would come to work tired because she couldn't sleep because she wasn't used to having a bed to herself again. She barely talked to anyone besides for Ochaco, dunce face, tape arms, and me. Raccon Eyes is a good person. She's depressed and not as happy without you. So I don't think you have anything to worry about Painting." Katsuki rambles and I look at him in slight shock at his words before I give a small smile.
"Thank you Katsuki. I needed a boost." I say to him and he smirks.
"I'm just that awesome I guess. If you tell Raccon Eyes that I said that about her I'll kill you." He says the last part with a small glare and I laugh.
"Of course. I won't. Tell Ochaco I said hi." I nod my head with a smile and he huffs.
"Have a good day off tomorrow. Spend time with your future wife and enjoy it." He says before he leaves my office.
Off day....perfect.

~Mina POV~

"I have the best idea!" I say excitedly to Kaminari and Sero as we walk down the street on a small patrol.
"What is it?" Kaminari says with a grin and I give a tiny happy squeal.
"I'm gonna propose to (Y/n)! I know she said she wanted to marry me but I think it'll be funny if I do it before she can ask me! I've already got her a beautiful ring!" I say as I swing on a light pole and then walk with a skip in my step as I catch up to them.
"I'm glad you're back to being happy Mina. I didn't like sad Mina. She's okay but she not the person we like to be friends with." Sero states and I smile.
"Yeah. I missed her a lot. I'm very happy she's back. With her being away for those six months made me realize I want to spend every moment with her. I don't want to have her away from me." I say with a smile as I imagine my beautiful girlfriend.
He silky (h/l) black and (f/c) flowing softly against the wind as she smiles happily at me as we lay in our bed and the light hits her face perfect and her (e/c) eyes shine as bright as the sun.
"Earth to Mina! Hey! You spaced." Kaminari snaps his fingers and I come out of my daze.
"Hehe sorry. I was just thinking." I say with a small nervous smile as I rub the back of my neck.
"We noticed." They both say and I huff.
"PINKY! CELLOPHANE! CHARGEBOLT!" A few teenagers shout and we all turn our heads towards them.
"Hey there!" I say happily and give them a small wave.
"Wow you're so pretty. Wanna go on a date sometime?" A teenage boy asks me and holds out a piece of paper.
"Pfft. Sorry to let you down buddy but I've got a beautiful girlfriend and I don't plan on losing her." I say to him and he looks a little shocked but also sad.
"Pinky's gay?" A few girls whisper in the back and I grin.
{IDK Mina's real sexuality but I'm just saying she's bi in this story because she has an interest in (Y/n) and Sero in high school.}
"Who wants a picture?" Kaminari asks and they cheer a little before we take a few pictures with the teens.
"Um...Pinky? Can I maybe talk to you real quick?" A shy girl with purple hair from the back comes over and asks me and I give her a small smile.
"You guys go ahead. I'll catch up." I say and they nod before walking away. "Let's sit at a bench." I say to her and she nods before we walk to a bench a small walk away.
"I-I don't know what to do. I-I'm bringing my boyfriend to meet both my moms and I think they expect me to be like them. B-but I'm not. I-I'm straight and I don't know if they'll be okay with it or not. I-I don't know who else to talk to." She starts to cry a little and I give a small smile to her.
{What I'm about to write is NOT CANON! I don't know Mina's parents and how they would act if she came out gay or bisexual so don't fuss at me cause this is a small detail I'm adding.}
     "You want to know something?" I ask her and she nods slowly. "My parents don't like that I'm dating a girl. They like her but they don't like that she's a girl. I know that parents are important but they don't control everything about your life. They're not always right about everything. They make mistakes, they tell you you can't do certain things because they know you can, they keep you on a leash to protect you. But they'll still love you no matter what you chose to do." I say to her and she looks at me in awe as I talk. "Do you have a sharpie?" I ask her and she grabs one from her pocket and a small book.
      "Here you go." She says and I smile before taking off my crop jacket and signing it before giving it to her.
     "Keep it. I can get another one. I could use a small upgrade anyway. Also text me if you ever want to have a girl talk. Me and Mosaic will happily talk." I say with a grin as I stand up.
     "Is Mosaic your girlfriend?" She asks and I grin before nodding my head.
     "Don't tell anyone but I plan to change it to fiancé." I say with a smile as I hold a finger over my lips. "Bye, good luck with your moms." I give a small wave before walking back to the agency.

Sunscreen, layout blanket, snacks, plenty of water bottles, sunglasses, Mina's favorite sun hat with small holes for her horns, bathing suit for Mina, a cover up if she doesn't like the one I picked, towels, money for if we decide to eat, both our phones, chargers, camera, both our purses, the ring, now just missing the most important thing. I think with a small smile as I pack a bag and put it in the trunk of my car before going back into mine and Mina's small house.
     I give a small smile as I hear Mina lightly snoring as I pick her into a bridal carry and she snuggles into me. "Warm..." she says lightly before she starts to snore again as I lightly set her in the passenger seat and buckle her up.
      "Please let this be a great trip." I send a small prayer as I start to drive to the small section of beach I was able to rent on such short notice.
      I had decided yesterday that I'd plan a sweet and relaxing day for Mina and me. Just us alone on the beach and enjoying ourselves. I'm gonna propose to her before we leave. I'm nervous but I'm so excited at the same time.
     "What?..." Mina says while she sits up tiredly before she yawns.
"Good morning, Queenie." I say with a smile as I turn my head to her before facing the road again.
"Beautiful, what's going on?" She asks and I give a small laugh.
"We're gonna have an amazing day off and we're gonna have fun." I say and she gives a small gasp of excitement.
"Really!?" She asks gaining new found energy and I laugh at her.
"Yep! Don't worry I've got everything packed." I say and she sighs happily as she flops back into her seat.
"I have to most amazing girlfriend ever." She says and I blush a little as she starts to kiss my neck.
"M-Mina, I-I have to focus on the road." I stutter and she giggles.
"Then focus on the road." She says before kissing my cheek and sitting back down.
I sigh at her teasing before we pull up at the beach a few minutes later.
"Are you Ms. (L/n)?" The renter asks and I nod my head. "Great. Here is the papers for renting the portion of beach for today and the agreements that follow. You have to leave the beach at nine tops. Enjoy your day you two." He says and I nod before he nods and drives away in his car.
"You rented a portion of a beach just to hang out with me for a day?" Mina says with a small smile and I nod happily.
"Go ahead and head down. I'll grab the bag." I say as I pop the trunk but Mina rushes under my arm and grabs the bag before making a beeline to the stairs.
"I got it!" She yells happily and I laugh as I chase after her.
"Let's eat a small breakfast." I say to her and grab the snack cakes and hand her one.
"Thanks." Mina replies and I nod my head happily as I chew my (favorite snack cake).
     We eating in a happy and peaceful silence before we change into our bathing suits.
     "You must really like this one on me." Mina says with a small laugh as she looks at here alien themed two piece.
     "I just like seeing more of your curves.~  And your pretty a**.~" I coos and she blushes red.
     "W-Well I like seeing that you still fit that sexy bathing suit from our first year." Mina states and I chuckle.
     "Yeah. I do kinda wonder how it still fits after six years." I say and she laughs a little as she pulls on her cover up.
     "Come on. Let's walk for a while before getting in the water." She says with a smile and I quickly put my cover up on before grabbing the camera and walking after her.
This is what I want my life to be like. Just Mina and me. A good life full of love and not many worries. I'm gonna make sure she has that. I think with a smile as I take a picture of her as she kicks around in the water.
     "(Y/n)! Mud minnows!" Mina says excitedly as she points down in the water.
     I smile at her before walking after her.

{Time Skip}

     "I'm just saying! If you got sun burnt would you be a brighter pink or would you be red? It's a perfectly good question!" I exclaim as she laughs at me.
     "I honestly don't know. I didn't really go to the beach much as a kid." Mina says and I smile at her.
     "I'll just have to change that for us then.~" I say to her before giving her a kiss on the lips. I smirk when we part and she looks at me confused.
     "What?" She asks with a small laugh and I smile.
     "I rented a beach to ourselves. Just the two of us. No one else is here." I say and she thinks for a moment before she smiles excitedly and realized what I was getting at.
     "Skinny dipping." We both say at the same time before starting to strip to our bare skin.
     "Wooooh!" Mina yells happily as she runs to the water. I snap a quick picture before putting it down with our clothes and running after her.

{Time Skip}

     "This sunset is beautiful. It's even better with you back." Mina says and I smile and turn to her.
     "Come on. Let's go get something to eat." I say to her as I grab the beach bag and walk up the steps.
     "This has been a great day." Mina says happily as she leans back in her seat.
     "Next is a nice dinner at the boardwalk." I say to her as I park and we get out.
     "Wow. This is so beautiful!" Mina says as she sees the lights on the pier and dinning area.
"Come on. Let's eat." I give her a small smile as we head inside.

"Best! Day! Ever!" Mina says happily as she leans on the side railing and looks at me with a big smile.
"Definitely." I reply before turning to look out as I hold the small case with the beautiful ring inside. Now is the perfect time! I think determinedly before turning to Mina.
"(Y/n)." "Mina." We both say at the same time and laugh.
"You go first." We both say and then laugh again.
"No you go first." We say again and laugh.
"Marry me?" We both say and stop in our tracks.
"What?" I say a little dumbfounded as I look at her. She grins and then pulls out a beautiful ring.

"Wow. Mina it's beautiful." I say in awe before I smile. "But not as beautiful as the one I got for you." I say before grabbing the small case and opening it.

"I win." I say with a small smile and she laughs before doing the same to me.
"You the most beautiful fiancée in the world." Mina says as she leans in and kisses me deeply.
"We need to celebrate." I say with a grin and she smiles. "How 'bout a little party in our bed when we get home?" I say to her and she blushes.
"O-okay." She says happily as we make our way to the car to head home.
