~(Y/n) POV~
"Do we really have to go to a bar to celebrate me and Ei getting engaged? Couldn't we have just got a cake or something?" I ask as Mina drags me into the wide open bar.
"Yes! You won't be able to drink much after you have kids, so you should drink while you still can." Mina says with her hands on her hips and I look at her a little deadpanned.
"Painting's right. Don't go too crazy. You guys still have work tomorrow." Katsuki says before he walks over to the bar island and takes a stool.
"I'm definitely drinking to the happy couple." Denki says with a smile as he takes the seat beside our friend/boss.
"Enjoy tonight (Y/n), you'll have fun." Hanta states and I look at his black eyes before nodding.
"Come on (Y/n), let's try the couples' margarita!" Eijiro says with a smile and I laugh as I follow after him to the bar.
{Time Skip}
It should've been today. Why don't I have my period? I think with confusion as I stare at the unflushed toilet not filled with my blood. Maybe I'll get it later tonight. It does always seem to come more in the afternoon. I think before flushing and finishing getting dressed in my hero costume.
"Do you have to go in now?" A tired Eijiro on the bed whines as he blinks his heavy red eyes.
"Katsuki told me that where I late for the night shift I have to go early to our noon shift." I say and comb through his nongelled red hair with my hand. "See you later. I'll text you." I state with a smile and give him a sweet loving kiss.
"Now I want you to stay. Cuddles and kisses. Sounds great." Eijiro says with a dreamy sigh and I laugh lightly at him.
"Love youuu!~"
"Love you more, beautiful!" I hear him call out after I shut our door.
(Y/n) I have to tell you-
Ding! My phone chimes and I look down at the location before going to the stairs of our apartment building and opening one of the windows before jumping out, unfurling my falcon wings and heading towards the location. "Sorry Fang, tell me later." I state.
But (Y/n)-
"HI THERE!" A voice shouts as they come barreling into my flying body and we crash hard on the roof of a building. "IT'S GREAT TO SEE YOU AGAIN MOSAIC! IT'S BEEN JUST PEACHY BEING WANTED AND ON THE RUN!"
"Hello again," I say as I stand up and brush the small amount of blood from my cracked lip. "Vixen." I say with annoyance as I stand face to face with the grey haired, green eyes, Fox quirk holder.
"Miss me much? Because I've been planning my revenge since I saw the first wanted poster of myself." Vixen snarls and I grab my twin swords.
(Y/n) I really really need to tell you-
"NOT NOW, FANG!" I shout, annoyance pricking my skin for an unknown reason. "If you can't see, I'm a little f***ing busy at the moment, and I'm ready to take this b**** down!" I snarl and see a realization seem to come over Vixen's green eyes.
"Bring it on then....b****." She says with a grin and I grit my teeth in annoyance before rushing at her with weapons at the ready.
She laughs as she starts to avoid my hits as I try to hit her with my twin swords. I try to right hook her but she jumps away from me with a laugh. "What's wrong Mosaic? You seem to be slower than our last battle?" She says with fake sympathy in her voice. "Have you lost your touch?" She asks and tilted her head and I grit my teeth.
This b****! I think in annoyance and rush at her, her mirroring me with a huge grin on her face. I pull my fist back and ready a punch as I secretly and swiftly have Fang hop off my skin and go behind Vixen.
As her fist meets my center stomach and mine meets her throat, a huge pain shoots through me and I help in pain as I slide back and clutch my midsection. D*** that f***ing hurts! I think in pain as I hear rough coughing. Fang! Now! I think as I see the small dragon scurry over to the figure on the ground and immobilized her.
"M-Make sure to pay me a v-visit in prison." Vixen says with an evil grin on her face as she struggles to speak.
I wince a little as I grab my watch and call a cruiser to come pick her up. Why does my stomach hurt so much? Normally I'd be fine with a blow like that. What's wrong with me? I think in pain as I take breaths as I press around my stomach, sometimes wincing.
"Sorry if we kept you waiting Mosaic! We were on our um—doughnut break." A cop says as he climbs the ladder and stands on the roof.
"It's...it's fine." I pause as I wince after taking a step. "Can you handle her?" I ask and he nods with a smile before he cuffs the villain who doesn't struggle after she's cuffed. "Thank you. Now, if you'll excuse me I have to go." I say and give him a fake smile and start slowly making my way down the ladder.
"ENJOY YOUR GIFT MOSAIC! HAVE A GREAT LIFE! HAHAHAHAHAH!" I hear Vixen he'll at the top of her lungs before laughing like a maniac.
Creep much? I think with a shiver before checking my watch. I have time for a run by. Just a small check up. I think as I start to make my way towards the nearby hospital.
"Mosaic? Emergency or check up?" The receptionist at the hero portion of the hospital asks when I walk up.
"Check up kinda. I got punched by a villain a little bit earlier and it's hurting more than it should." I reply and she nods with a smile.
"You're lucky! Your doctor just got off break and he doesn't have anything so you can head on in!" She states and I nod.
"Thank you." I say with a smile and make my way to the room for my check up. I wait a couple minutes before the door opens and the doctor peaks his head in.
"Good to see you (Y/n), how are you today?" Doctor Kaiso, my doctor of many years because he would often treat both my parents when they had Hero work, asks as he sits down.
"Could be better. I finally took down Vixen but she punched me pretty hard in the stomach and it's hurting more than it should be." I respond and he looks at me in thought.
"Can I run some tests? I think I possibly may have a guess at what it is but I have to make sure." He asks and I nod.
After running a few test, drinking a lot of water and then taking a stool sample {gross but I think they'd do that}, and an ultrasound he comes back after a few anxious minutes of me sitting in silence.
"(Y/n), I have some bad news for you." Kaiso says and my heart starts to beat faster as my nervousness rises.
"How bad?" I ask and he sighs with a frown.
"(Y/n), I'm very sorry to inform you that you had a miscarriage. It seemed to be a very healthy little one too." Kaiso states and my heart drops.
"W-what?" I ask as tears start to prick at the corner of my (e/c) eyes. "I don't even remember having sex." I say with a small crack in my voice.
"It was a three week old. Do you remember what you did three weeks ago?" He asks and my eyes go wide.
"M-Me and my friends went out drinking because me and Eijiro got engaged." I say with realization. "Oh god." I say and roughly comb a hand through my black and (f/c) tipped hair.
"I'm sorry for your loss." He says and places a hand on my shoulder before taking a deep breath.
"There's more, I'm guessing?" I say with a crack in my voice and he nods with a deep frown.
"I-I hate to tell you this but it will be very hard for you to carry children. And even if you were able I'd suggest only having one for your safety." He states and I place my hand over my mouth to stop from sobbing. "I'm so sorry (Y/n), I've know that since you were young that you've wanted kids." He states and pulls me into a tight hug.
"I-It's not your fault." I say and wipe the corners of my eyes. "C-can I change into some clothes in here and then leave? I'll pay before leaving." I say and he nods before exiting. A few tears fall from my eyes as I change into the spare clothes that I had in my utility box and put my hero costume inside before exiting, paying at the front desk, and then leaving with my head hung.
I don't feel like going back to work. Or doing anything at all. I think with a small sigh and dig out my phone and press call on a name.
"What do you need Painting? Good save this morning, by the way." Katsuki says and I take a shaky breath.
"Kat, c-can I have the rest of the day off...." I stop talking as a sob comes out of my throat on accident. "P-please. I'll work all day tomorrow." I say and hear him stay silent for a bit.
"Sure. I won't ask what's wrong but I hope you're okay, (Y/n)." He says before hanging up right as I enter in our apartment building.
I take the elevator and stare at my rough looking reflection before the doors open and I head towards mine and Eijiro's shared apartment. I open the door and throw my utility box on the couch as I kick off my shoes and walk over to our bedroom and strip down to just panties before grabbing one of Eijiro's shirts and a pair of his gym shorts. Before flopping on the bed and hugging Eijiro's pillow and crying into it.
I don't look up as I feel the stares Fang, Koi, Lucien, Luna and Blizzard after they hop out of there tattoo places on my body.
(Y/n)? Fang says worriedly and a choke out a sob.
"Please....leave me alone." I say with a sob and hear a couple whispers from them before I hear them walk out. I'm so useless.
