Chapter 10: Realisation

Shergill Villa

It was Anoop and Pooja at home..

Avni smiled "choti dadi.. Aap aa gaye wapas" she said hugging her.

"Haa bacha.." Pooja said, kissing her cheek.

Avni went to her room to finish her homework.

"Hum kuch din ke liye tour pe kya gaye? Tumne toh chot hi lagwa li khudko" Anoop said, hitting Vineet's head playfully.

"Chachaji.. Ab aap toh mat daanto mujhe already maa se bahut kha chuka hun main" he said

Anoop smiled and they had some conversation.

New Villa Apartments

Ruhana was trying to put Manvi to sleep. She thought about Vineet, how he saved Manvi's life. She regretted slapping him and misbehaving with him. He was not at fault. In the past two days, he was with her and did not even go to his house to see his own daughter.

Manvi slept and Ruhana moved out of the room. She took her phone and called Vineet. He picked up the call in a few rings.

"Hello.."

Ruhana asked "aapki tabiyat thik hai na? Sorry main bina mile hi chali aayi"

"I am absolutely fine koi baat nahi actually I am sorry meri wajah se manvi.." he paused when he heard her.

"Nahi.. I am sorry for my behaviour.. Bina sach jaane maine aapko blame kar diya actually Manvi ki galti thi" she voiced.

"Ab aap usko daantna mat iss baat pe.." he said, lighting the situation making her feel not much guilty.

Ruhana smiles..

"And Thank you.. Hospital bills clear karne ke liye" Vineet said.

"Ek mahina pehle aapne meri help ki thi.. Aur aaj maine ki toh hisab barabar.." Ruhana replied.

They had a light conversation and Ruhana disconnected the call. She smiled and felt a strange connection towards him.

A few Days Later

Shergill Villa

Gautami was sitting on the couch when Pooja kept a few photographs in front of her. Gautami asked "ye kya hai Pooja?"

"Ye kuch widow ladkiyon ki tasveer hai.. Dekhlo shayad koi Vineet ko pasand aa jaye" Pooja advised.

Gautami smiled and said "Pooja main bhi chahti hun ki Avni ko maa mile aur Vineet ka akelapan door ho jaye.. Par main jab bhi usse shaadi ki baat karti hun wo taal deta hai"

"Bhabhi.. Avni abhi bahut choti hai aur use maa ki zaroorat hai hamesha toh aap ya main toh nahi honge na usse samjhane ke liye" Pooja said meaningfully.

Gautami was thoughtful. "Baat toh sahi hai tumhari Pooja.. Main usse baat karti hun ek baar phir" she said.

"Waise hai kahan Vineet? Anoop kah rahe they aaj wo office nahi gaya" she asked.

"Aur kaha hoga? Gaya hoga apni beti ko leke shopping karane.. Games khilane" Gautami said.

Shoplix Mall

Vineet and Avni were playing games along with Ruhana and Manvi. They were having a good quality of time together. RuVi (Ruhana and Vineet) developed a deep friendship in the past few months, their daughters were one of the reasons of course.

Avni and Manvi were busy playing while Ruhana and Vineet sat on the bench and talked with each other. Ruhana laughed at his words, while Vineet stared at her. For a moment Ruhana was also lost in his eyes.
