Manvi was sleeping while keeping her head on Ruhana's lap, she caressed her hairs. There was a kind of peace in her sleep which was missing since the day she had returned.
Vihaan entered the room and asked "mumma aapke aur papa ke saath main sota hun na.."
"Aaj tum Avni ke paas so jao" Ruhana said..
Vihaan nodded and went to Avni.
At night, Manvi opened her eyes as she was thirsty. It was all dark inside the room, she shouted "darkroom"
Ruhana woke up with her voice, she held her hand "mannu kuch nahi hai main hun na.."
"Nahi.. nahi light on karo please.." Ruhana turned on the lights and Manvi hugged her like a scared child. She even tightened the grip around her waist..

She was silent, tears slipped down her eyes. Ruhana assured her "bas main hun na paas"
Soonish, she slept and Ruhana thought how to make her fearless again.
The next day, everyone was at the breakfast table. Manvi came down, she does not know where to sit. Avni was sitting beside Vineet, while Vihaan was beside Ruhana. Avni signalled her to sit beside her. She nodded and sat down.
She saw there was toast, sandwiches. She ate the toast and butter..
"Sandwich khao na Manvi" Pooja said..
"Nahi toast khana hai" she replied.
Ruhana kept lunch boxes into Vihaan and Avni's school bag.
Avni said "mumma.. Boards exams shuru hone waale hai isliye Vihaan ko bolo mujhe zyada pareshan na kare"
