Ruhana was not expecting the person to be here. She then realised everyone was looking at her bewilderedly.
She bent down and started to pick up the broken glasses pieces "sorry wo haath se tray fisal gayi" she said trying to act normal.
Gautami said "Ruhana haath mein chub jayega kaanch.. Rehenedo main saaf karwa deti hun"
Ruhana nodded, she immediately went to the kitchen keeping the tray on the kitchen slab. Her mind stopped completely, nervousness, fear all negative feelings raised her mind and heart. She panicked for a moment, she closed her eyes and calmed down herself. She thought, maybe this is her imagination.
She picked up the food container and headed towards the dining table. She kept it and eyed at the person and realised this is not her imagination but reality. He stared at her with a smile and she was hating it.
Just then, Manvi and Avni were playing tom and jerry chase. Manvi stopped when something pinched her feet. She shouted in pain "Aah.."
She sat on the floor and looked at her feet, blood started to ooze out with a small piece of glass stuck in her skin.
The person rushed to the girl and tried to make her calm.. "Nahi beta.. Bas abhi thik ho jayega"
Vineet came and held Manvi in his lap, and the person removed the pierced piece from her foot. Manvi hid her face and cried as she was in deep pain.. "Papa dard ho raha hai"
Avni brought the first aid kit quickly and the person held it. Ruhana walked towards them and picked up Manvi in her arms leaving everyone astonished..
"Door raho meri beti se Vikrant" Ruhana said in a warning tone. She snatched the first aid kit from his hand and went into the room.
Vineet was confused with Ruhana's behaviour. He apologized to Vikrant for Ruhana's behaviour.
He said with a smile "it is fine.. I should leave.. Phir kabhi dinner kar lunga"
"No please.. Dinner karke jao main dekhti hun Manvi aur Ruhana ko" Gautami said and left to check them.
Kids Room
Ruhana cleaned Manvi's wound and shouted "mumma.."
"Bas bas ho gaya" Ruhana said.. She wrapped the white bandage around her little feet.
Ruhana made her lay properly and secured her closer to herself. Soon, Manvi slept. Ruhana wiped the tears from her eyes.

Gautami entered the room and asked "thik hai na manvi?"
Ruhana shook her head in yes.
Gautami questioned her "kya hua bahar tum strange behave kar rahi thi"
Ruhana was silent, she had no answers for her questions. She made an excuse "bas thoda ghabra gayi thi main.. Iski chot dekhke.." she replied..
"Tum dekhna ek do din mein phirse bhaagti firegi ghar mein shaitaan" Gautami replied and tried to cheer her up her mood.
