Chapter 12

The next morning in River Haven, five SUV's pulled into a junk yard on the edge of West Falls. In the first car, Akam was driving with Razor in the passenger seat and Seth in the back. The second car was driven by Bobby Fish with Roderick Strong in the passenger seat and Finn Balor in the back. The third car was driven by Sarah Logan with Liv Morgan in the passenger seat with Ruby in the back. The fourth car was driven by Tonga Loa with Tama Tonga in the passenger seat and Jay White in the back. The fifth car was driven by Kenta with Kyle O'Riley in the passenger seat. Seth was the first to get out of his car then Finn, Ruby and Jay followed his lead. Everyone else waited int he car while the leaders of the gangs gathered next to a box car.

"I think we all know a war is coming." Seth began to tell everyone.

Ruby crossed her arms and listened carefully while Finn fixed his suit jacket.

"We don't know when but we know it's coming. So.. As my first act as the top man on this side of town.. I got you all some presents." Seth told them.

Jay gave Seth a skeptical look, not sure if he trusted him.

What no one saw was Roman watching from a top another box car just behind them. He watched carefully as Seth motioned for everyone to get out of the cars. Seth lit a cigar and waited while Razor and Akam opened up the box car.

"What the fuck is that?" Jay asked as everyone gathered around.

Ruby jumped into the box car and examined the nearly hundred boxes of toy trucks.

"What the hell are you doing, Seth?" Roman asked himself.

On the ground, Seth let out a smirk while Ruby opened a box.

"Holy shit." Ruby said with a smile on her face.

Everyone watched as she pulled out an Ak47. She tossed it to Liv who was all too eager to get hands on the gun. As Ruby started handing boxes to everyone to loan into the cars, Jay gave Seth a nod of approval.

"Not bad, Rollins." Jay told him.

Roman looked on in disappointment at the sight of Seth bringing guns into the city for the McMahon's gang members.

At the River Haven Post,  Renee was just walking into the elevator when Phil joined her.

"So now you're pitching stories?" Phil asked.

"Excuse me?" Renee asked.

"Paul told me to go to the school that night.. I was reporting on the kidnapping then I hear you went into his office and tried to take it for yourself?" Phil asked.

Renee looked at him in confusion.

"That's not what I was doing-." Renee tried to say.

"I'm on to you, Young." Phil said suddenly as he turned to face her.

Renee waited with worried eyes for him to continue.

"I think you're hiding something. And rest assured, as long as you're here at The Post, I won't stop until I find out what it is." Phil assured her.

Then suddenly, the elevator doors opened.

"Have a good day, Young." Phil told her before leaving.

Renee took a deep breath and tried to hide her concern.

That day at lunch, Sasha was sitting in the cafeteria in her usual outfit. A black beanie with her nose ring, jeans, a tank top, and her red and white tank top tied around her waist. Alexa was sitting on Buddy's lap at their table while Billie and Peyton sat across from them. Sasha glanced over and made eyes contact with Alexa from across the cafeteria. For the first time, Sasha didn't want to role her eyes at the sight of queen bee, Alexa and her annoying friends. Sasha was actually seeing through Alexa's facade. When Bayley walked in, Sasha looked down at her food. Alexa took notice of the interaction between the two friends. Bayley just stood there, hoping for Sasha to look up at her but she didn't. Bayley let out a sigh of frustration and went over to sit down at a table by herself.
