I blinked. Then opened my eyes completely. Why is everything white? White curtains surrounded me and I lay in a white bed in front of a white wall. I must be in the hospital wing. But why?

Slowly the memories came rushing back. James dragging me through the corridors, the failed resorting, the rejection. Wait....the rejection!

HOW DARE HE! The supposed boy-who-lived, savior of the light, most precious boy who has ever existed on this earth has rejected his twin brother out of no clear reason, fully aware that he was killing his own brother, the one he shared blood and magic with. And he was smiling about it. He was happy that his own brother died. DIED.

Madam Pomfrey ran in suddenly.

"Mr Potter! Breath in and out slowly. You need to calm down now. Come on, breath with me. In. And out. In and out."

I copied her and my breathing gradually slowed down. I looked at her and rage slowly turned into despair and grief. A tear ran down my face.

"There you go. Now, now don't cry." She said with concern etched on her face.

"There is no hope, is there? I will die and nobody will care. Not even my own family. Well I don't really have a family, do I? They want me dead anyways." I let out a dry laugh. "Yeah. Worthless freakish Harry in Slytherin. Oh no! He could be a danger to our precious little Gryffindor John. Let's just kill him off. But of course we're still the perfect light family we've always been! And oh no, we're not prejudiced! Not at all!" I imitated Lily, then let out another laugh. "Pathetic."

"There is still hope. If you know three close friends that wou-"

"Hadrian!" Draco and Blaise stormed into the hospital wing interrupting Madam Pomfrey in the process. She looked at the disapproving.

"Well as I was saying before those two ran in," she glanced at them and they bowed their head in shame. "There is still hope. To save a rejected twin-"

"You were rejected?" Draco yelled and the two boys looked shocked.

"Mister Malfoy! If you or your friend here interrupt me one more time you will both land outside the hospital wing before you can say 'Quidditch'!"

"Sorry ma'am." He went back to looking at his own feet fidgeting under the matron's gaze.

"Now, again, to save a rejected twin, two boys or girls of the same age that are already twins, or three boys or girls of the same age and gender have to adopt said rejected twin and will automatically become triplets or quadruplets. It will have to be a blood adoption. With the three individuals that would adopt you, Mr Potter, nothing would happen but a bond between all of you. You, however would lose any connection to your former family except all heirships but the Potter one, you would also adopt features from all your new family members which would lead to you looking completely different, you would form a bond and get a creature if the others have one. Other than that you would only need to stay close to them for a month in order for your magic to adjust. Your magic would balance each other and it needs to get used to balancing three other cores. Their magics would need longer to adjust to balancing others magics as it is new to them. That is why it will take a month. Do you have anyone in mind that would help you?"

"We'll do it!" Draco and Blaise spoke up at the same time with a confident look.

Madam Pomfrey smiled softly. "Now if you would take that same enthusiasm to find a third volunteer that would be great."

I slumped back into my pillow. "No need. I don't know anyone else that would do it. And no one would randomly adopt a stranger at age 11. I'll just die right here in peace. Don't worry about me."
