Zheng YiRong and Xiao Yan walked through the streets of the capital city.

Hundreds upon hundreds of people were walking, selling, buying, and trading items from all over the world.

Zheng YiRong hummed in delight as she ate the candied fruit that Xiao Yan had just bought her and relished the heavenly taste as it seemed to melt in her mouth.

Xiao Yan also ate a similar candied fruit, hearts visibly in her eyes.

The two continued to wander through the streets when a small shop in the corner of the alley they were currently walking down.

It was dusty and looked abandoned yet the sign in front clearly stated that it was opened. Many people were walking past it, not even giving it a glance as if it wasn't there.

"Miss, I think we should go the other way, that shop looks suspicious," Xiao Yan said but YiRong continued to stare at it. She felt something inside of her that told her to go.

YiRong pursed her lips before finalizing her decision. She walked towards the worn down building as Xiao Yan stood there dumbly before frantically trying to convince YiRong otherwise.

Of course, it didn't work as Zheng YiRong continued to move forward, in seconds, she arrived at the door and opened it. The bell chimed as the smell of old books greeted Zheng YiRong and Xiao Yan.

Walking in, Xiao Yan reluctantly closed the door. An elderly woman looked up and smiled. YiRong nodded at the woman before she went and walked through the little shop. Books upon books were piled through the shelves. They were all quite old, shown through the wearing of the leather covers.

Pulling one out of the back shelf YiRong looked at the front. Nothing. No title, no author, no words, no letters, no numbers. Frowning slightly she flipped through the pages of the book.

Gold stars, silver stars, and bronze stars.

What? YiRong's frown deepened.

"Young lady," the elderly woman said. YiRong looked up, "You would not have found my store unless if you have the powers of a star."

"What do you mean?" The elderly woman chuckled as YiRong as Xiao Yan looked at her with confusion.

"Take them."

"What?" YiRong and Xiao Yan cried simultaneously.

"Those books at the end, they would be useful one day. I'm sure."

The two young girls looked at the 12 books laid neatly on the shelf.

"Miss, this is a scam. Don't buy them." Xiao Yan said.

Frowning some more she looked at the elderly woman before looking at her maid and then she looked back at the elderly woman who was watching her with a smile on her face.

"How much is it?"

"10 gold coins."

"10 gold coins?!!! Are you trying to scam my miss-" Xiao Yan furiously cried out before her mouth was covered.

"Give her the coins."

"But-!"

"Xiao Yan."

"Fine," with great reluctance, Xiao Yan handed the elderly woman the coins and went to carry the books. As they were walking out, the elderly woman spoke.

"Wait a minute." Xiao Yan did not want to wait but YiRong stopped and looked back. "Take this." An object was tossed to YiRong who catches it. Looking down, she saw a ring with a black stone engraved in it. On the black stone was a sign and around it were smaller stones that also had signs in them.

"A storage ring??" Xiao Yan cried as she peered over YiRong's shoulders and stared at the object in her palms. YiRong raised her eyes, storage ring?

Putting it on, YiRong felt a shock as the ring shone brightly.

"It's yours now," The woman said with a smile.

"Thank you." YiRong gave a small bow to the woman. She turned to Xiao Yan and willed the books into her storage, and surprisingly it did. She smiled, it seems that it was easy to use.

Xiao Yan and YiRong walked away with Xiao Yan's mouth gaping. When the two exited the alley, the store that they had just gone in disappeared. As if it was never there.

————In another place————

"Have you delivered the items to her yet?"

A man looked through the tainted windows, hand behind his back.

"Yes," a feminine voice answered. "The ring and books have been delivered."

A smile broke through the man's face. "Good."
