/You're worth it. It might seem like you're without a use in this world, like you are a burden. But you aren't. Everyone has a reason to be here. If it's your little smile you gave that little baby on a train, if it's the fashion sense that made somebody look at you. If it's the dog that wanted to run over the street to get petted by you. The cat that purred when you keeled down and stretched out a finger to them, the birds you fed grains to when it was in the middle of winter.
You might not see it, but the world needs you. Maybe you need to find the reason it needs you, blindly making someone's day, deaf to the chuckles to your joke, numb to the hand that wanted to hold you close. -All the little things that make the world a bit better, because you are in it.
So keep your head up and stay a little longer, because your existence in itself is worth more than you think. /
And now, let's begin, shall we?
One week. It's only one week. trying to calm himself down, he clenched his jaw, his steps got closer to hell he called home. Swallowing, he saw the yellow facade of the big House, the white Door and the windows, the little Balcony. His fingernails dug into his palm as he made a fist inside his pockets, he didn't even want to go close to this House. Faded screams echoed inside his mind, reminding him of what was behind that door. The memories of burning cheeks made his skin itch, as he closed his eyes, swiping away all the pictures in his head. "Come on, you fucking idiot" he sneered at himself, walking towards the door and unlocking it.
The familiar sight of the tidy living room catched his eye, as he closed the door behind him, noticing that his father was the only one at home right now. Debating if this was a good or bad thing, he took off his shoes and put them into the little cabinet in the corridor. "I'm home" his raspy voice said, walking into the Room. His father looked up from the Magazine, his judging gaze stared into his soul. "I can see that. then dress yourself normal and we can talk a bit." Internally rolling his eyes, the blonde nodded and went up the stairs into his room.
Coming back down, now in a black hoodie with too long sleeves, he sat down on the armchair across from his father. His chest was filled with unease, as he bit his lip, waiting for his father to speak up.
"Your grades have been dropping lately, Katsuki." the low voice made him flinch, an indicator that he was angry. "I know, I'll try-" getting cut off by his father, he looked at the ground, not wanting to get into more trouble than he already was. "That's what you said last time too, and what did change? Right, nothing. You still got worse." folding the Newspaper in his hands, he put it on the Table between them, his eyes burning themselves into Katsuki who avoided locking eyes with him.
"I'm sorry." He had so much more going on in his life, he just couldn't concentrate. The last months he had dragged himself to class everyday, sleep deprived and drained from all the emotions that kept fucking with his head. Because he kept fucking with his head.
"Sorry doesn't change your School Report, son." disappointment laid in his tired brown eyes, a sharp undertone was in his voice. All his parents cared about were his grades. Nothing else mattered to them. As if he was some kind of damn animal that they wanted to train.
And what if he had an C in History? It wasn't important anyways, and what about all the straight A's he had in literally every other Subject?"It's only one grade-"
