Four months passed; tragedy wouldn't let go of the Ahluwalias. Naina broke down after Abhi's wedding; taunts from the society increased; Mr. Ahluwalia had a heart attack. Raj was destroyed by the guilt of being responsible because of his role in arresting Naveen. He did his best to help the family.
Raj: Hey Shalini? To what do I owe this privilege?
Shalini: Raj can you please rush to the Cantt hospital
Raj: What happened Shal?
Shalini: Naina Singh Ahluwalia was brought here a couple of hours back after a suicide event!
Raj: No! Oh no. I'll just be there.
Raj rushed to the hospital
Raj: Shal, how is she?
Shalini: Stable now; she lost a lot of blood, but a friend was visiting and brought her here on time. I didn't want to bother Mr & Mrs. Ahluwalia. They are already heartbroken since Naveen died 4 months back; and then Abhi and Naina breaking up; Abhi's wedding; Mr Ahluwalia's heart attack
Raj: You did the right thing! How could Naina do this
Shalini: About that... Raj... I know I shouldn't tell you this! But I don't know what else to do/ Naina is pregnant. Around 4 months. She found out a week back and has been trying to get an abortion which would be fatal for her at this stage
Raj: Damn it! Damn it Abhi! He ruined her life. She doesn't deserve this. Can I meet her?
Shalini: Raj she's very emotionally fragile! Please try and talk sense into her
Raj walked into Naina's room and saw her looking shattered. Her face was pale, he noticed the bandage around left wrist and the tears streaming down her face.
Naina: Go away Raj! Go away. I don't want to hear your lectures.
Raj: I am not going anywhere. Naina how could you do this?
Naina: What else do I do? Destroy my parents life further by telling them I am pregnant and my boyfriend; no my ex-boyfriend is married to someone else?
Oh and that I can't get an abortion.
Raj: And instead you chose to destroy their happiness by killing yourself?
Naina: Raj I can't take it any more; I cant!
Raj walked up to her and sat next to her and held her in his arms; He kept holding her and talking to her till she fell asleep.
Finally he made his way to Shalini's office were Gunny was sitting (Gunny and Shalini were married)
Shalini: RAJ you are a miracle worker. She was uncontrollable; you saved her.
Raj: Shalini but what do we do to help her? Her situation is ...
Shalini: Raj I have a suggestion!
Gunny: Shalini no... we discussed not
Raj: Let her speak.
Shalini: Raj you were Naveen's best friend. You no the ahluwalias; and naina. she's a lovely girl. You don't have anyone in your life.
