Raj: Baba... Mr Ahluwalia, please don't do this. She's my...the love of my life. Please...

NF: That's why you hired Lala's guards to protect her? And they almost killed her?

Raj: Please don't do this to me!

NM: Mahesh what are you doing? This is Raj. Please don't do this to him

NF: I am sick of this man hurting my children. He needs to stay away from them!!!

NM: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?

NF: WRONG WITH ME? I LOST MY YOUNG SON, AND NOW NAINA... NO... THE ROOT CAUSE IS LALA AND THIS MAN IS LALA'S SON.

Raj: I respect you a lot, but I won't listen to you.

He barged inside pushing the guard aside, Naina's mother stopped her father from saying anything

Raj held Naina's hands and suddenly felt her fingers move.

Raj: Doctor!!! Doctor!!!

The doctor ran inside and examined Naina who had since opened her eyes. She tried to speak but her words were barely a whisper;

Naina (softly): Baby?

Raj: He's perfect. We have a perfect baby boy. You need to get better soon, for him.

She nodded. and closed her eyes. She was very fatigued and in pain. Raj held her hands and kissed her. She opened her eyes and tried to smile.

Raj: I am so sorry Naina... I was wrong about Lala... I was wrong about your investigation. I can never forgive myself. You forgive me right.

Naina nodded, and a tear of joy came down her face

NM; See, this is our daughter's joy. Her Raj. The love of her life.

NF was silent.

Naina: Baby, Riya? HerE?

Raj: I'll go and bring both of them

Raj rushed to bring both Naveen and Riya to the room. Riya looked scared visiting her mother in such a shape but felt reassured as naina smiled at her. She came and hugged naina, trying to be as gentle as possible.

Finally Raj placed Naveen next to Naina and she held his tiny hands.

Naina: Naveen?

Raj: Naveen :)

Naina's recovery was slow and painful

Naina's recovery was slow and painful. She was very dependent on Raj and felt upset because he was already taking care of both the children with the help of her parents. While Naina's father hadn't forgiven Raj, he had accepted that Naina loved him more than anything else in the world.

3 months later Naina was finally able to go home, she was struggling to be so dependent on her nurse and raj for the first time in her life.

The first week she tried getting up and going to the bathroom alone, she walked a few wobbly steps and fell on the floor, Raj came rushing in and tried picking her up. But Naina pushed him away

Naina; I am not an invalid!!! GO AWAY... I can walk to the bathroom on my own.

Raj: You will be able to. Soon. Not now.

He put his arms around her waste and supported her in walking.

The next week she tried breastfeeding her baby boy but she wasn't producing any milk because of her illness. She then switched to a bottle. Naveen kept crying as he wasn't used to being held by her or fed by her

Raj came in and Naina handed over Naveen in desperation.

Raj: He's just irritable today. He didn't sleep well last night

Naina: Of course. that's why he became quiet the moment you held him. My baby doesn't know me, doesn't recognize me!!

Raj: Naina everything will get OK, He's beginning to recognize you, soon he'll become comfortable

Riya: Till then i am here mumma...

She ran and hugged Naina and spent the rest of the day playing with naina while laying in bed.

One day Raj heard Naina yell at the attendant to leave her room.

Nurse: Ma'am's really upset today; she tried brushing her hair but got tired midway. I offered to give her oil her hair and brush it and she got irritated

Raj: I am sorry on her behalf. I'll handle it.

Raj came to Naina, took some oil in his hands and began massaging her hair.

Naina: Go away! i am sick of being an invalid!

Raj didn't pay heed to her words. He continued massaging her hair.

Naina: I can't even walk to the bathroom on my own. You or the nurse have to take me. Soon you'll be tired of me.

Raj brushed her hair and tied it up.

Naina: Tell me, aren't you tired of me?

In response Raj took out the proposal ring.

Raj: This is the third time I am asking and this time I won't take no for an answer

Naina was overwhelmed

Naina: Raaj,,,, I don't know when I'll be normal again... How will we... Do you want to be stuck...

Raj: Naina humaara pyaar kaafi hai, to get past anything. We have had to many tragedies preventing our happily ever after. No more. Will you marry me?

Naian began crying and nodded.

Raj cupped her chin and kissed her deeply!

Raj: The day the doctor gives you a clean bill of health we'll make it official. Here's the form for the license application

Naina: How did you know I'd say yes?

Raj: I wasn't giving you an option.

Naina hugged Raj and began crying.

3 months later Naina was finally given a clean bill of health.

The next day in a small ceremony attended by their children, Naina's parents and Gunny and Shalini, Naina and Raj made their relationship official again.

It had taken 8 years for them to finally be together - from the time Raj married her to take care of her, to falling in love with her, being scared of losing her, having Riya, getting pregnant, losing their baby, getting a divorce, Raj going missing in action, coming back, naina's reluctance towards marriage, their miracle pregnancy, lala almost destroying everything

And now everything was ok. Not OK, perfect. They were married, they had two beautiful children, and they had each other

Naina: WE MADE IT, AFTER ALL THE UPS AND DOWNS!

Raj: Kyunki humara pyaar kaafi tha, kaafi hai aur hamesha kaafi rahega.
