"Ah, morning..." Kuro said emotionlessly as he woke up, staring at the wall. "I coulda had a girlfriend, or at least a ladyfriend, but Kyushi had to fuck it up."
"Hey, I saved you from being played." Kyushi overheard him while donning his light blue uniform, the colour of Tokyo Community College. "Plus, she reeks of kawaii edm garbage, stuff that Japanese sheeple women listen to."
His friend groaned a bit, and got up. "You're lucky I love you as a brother. If I didn't, I'd beat your ass."
"But what if I might like it?"
"I question your sexuality."
"Hey! I'm not gay!"
"Yes, Kyushi. Yes, you are probably gay. Just know I'm not going out with you, or any shit like that."
Kyushi waltzed out the door, in his uniform.
Before he left, he said, "There's breakfast at the snack bar, tightwad." He shut the door and left.
Kuro got up, groaning. "Adara doesn't want me. Maybe I should be a MGTOW, like Kyushi. I would be gay, but..."

The cafeteria was as packed as an abandoned warehouse on rave day, except there were no dancers, or music. There was a bunch of students, teachers, the like.
Adara was sitting down with her purple-haired, busty, Gothic friend, talking to her.
"So, Illenium is coming to Japan this weekend!"
Adara was fangirling over him for weeks, given that she was into the EDM trend, especially future bass and melodic dubstep.
Ayumi Ameshisuto, her friend, scoffed. "Listen to Japanese metal, or industrial scrub."
"Hey!"
"Just saying."
Adara looked and saw Kuro. He looked stoic, but when both eyes were locked on each other for a few seconds, they looked away. She blushed a bit, wondering if she should talk to him. She thought to herself, Kuro doesn't wanna talk to me. He looks like the guy that would reject me and call me a bitch.
Ayumi looked at him too. "10/10 would fuck. How about you, Adara?"
"He's probably one of those guys that would cheat... I've dealt with guys like that before. Either that, or he's gay."
"Just make like a fuckin' chicken, and wing it!" Ayumi stuffed her mouth with a big spoonful of rice.
Adara got up, and walked toward Kuro, while he was ordering his food at the commissary. "One shrimp-and-cheese burger without mayo, please," he stated towards the cashier.
"That'll be 5¥."
He turned towards the timid woman. "What?"
"Hi...uhhh... Kuro..." she stammered, trying to speak.
"Hi...uhh... Wanna sit at lunch with me?"
"Sure..."
Adara was sweating buckets, but as he walked away, she smiled a bit, happy that she accomplished speaking to a guy.
She went back to her table with her food.
"How'd it go?" Ayumi asked.
"It went somewhat OK. I never thought he'd say yes..." Adara replied.
"That's nice that he said yes. Now let's change your music tastes."
Adara groaned and ate her shrimp burger, thinking about what to talk to Kuro about. They might talk about anime, music, or cooking. She turned around, and she looked at the recoloured Mega Charizard X on his backpack. Off the bat, she knew he is a fan of Pokémon.
