"W...Where am I?" Adara said in a daze as she opened her eyes.
She woke up in the hospital, only to see that Kuro was the only one in the room.
"Kuro?"
"Adara?"
"I have thyroid cancer..."
Kuro's garnet eyes start to fill with tears. He never liked showing emotion, but he felt like he had to because his love interest just might die.
Adara's voice was raspy. "There's still hope for me..."
The nurse came in, checking her. "She has thyroid cancer."
"I know," Kuro said with his voice breaking.
The nurse checked his watch. "It's 7:00 pm. Visiting time is over," he told him with a deadpan face, as if he hated his job.
