Your POV
It's been a week since my sister's wedding, well, her was to be wedding. Since those military men took her away, I haven't seen her since. I have searched all of Modesto! I've sliced through the darkest allys, sat on top of the highest buildings to get the best lay of the land, and I've even tried to trace the Military trucks' path! (I keep losing the trail once they hit the highway.) But I still haven't found even a trace of her. "Where could those military men have taken her?" I thought to myself. I didn't take more than 24 hours after the accident for it to hit me. Susan complained about a giant meteorite just before her growth, "could this be the missing piece of the puzzle that I was looking for?" I said. There was no question, I had to go to the old church, that's where the supposed meteorite landed. Only problem is, I can never catch what's left of the Church unguarded. It's always kept under the watchful eyes of either the Military or the local cops.
I sigh. This would be the eith time I checked, but I knew that I had to check on the possibility of a crash-site before the military took every scratch and trace of clues!
I tapped on my ankles on my sneaker skates, and out popped the wheels; and away I ran to the old church. When I got there, I stopped, the entire area was surrounded by yellow caution tape, but the tape wasn't the issue, it was the military men. They. Were. EVERYWHERE! Again.I groan and slap my head. Of course, they'd still be watching over this place like a hawk! "What was I thinking?" I moan. "How am I ever gonna find what's left of that meteorite? If it even exists?! If those guys see me, they'll recognize me immediately and make me leave! If they don't wipe my memory of the incident first!" I thought to myself. I just had to get in there! I'd have to wait until nightfall, but even then, it would be hard for me to see, and if I turned on any light, I'd be spotted. I sighed in defeat, turning my back to the church. With nothing to do until my parents got home and 8:00, and it was 2:00 by the way, I decided to go into town to get something to eat. I ran off towards the town, but I had no idea the surprise that awaited me there.
I was walking down the street, it was surprisingly not very busy, probably because only the homeschoolers were around right now. Suddenly, I heard a bunch of barking coming from the nearest ally way. I went to check it out, and all of a sudden, two big stray dogs popped out and growled at me. They seemed to be a guard dog and a beagle, and they did not look friendly. I turned 180° but two more pitbull dogs were growling behind me. I was surrounded, I covered my eyes, hoping that something would scare them away. Just then, I heard another bark, however this one had a slightly higher pitch. I opened my eyes and saw a little brown dog standing between the two dogs barking at them, telling them to back off. She had bright red eyes, but she was too cute for words that I didn't even care how strange it was.
But the dogs refused to leave, they barked louder, the little dog whimpered for a moment, but then stood up strait. Suddenly, her ears and tail caught on fire! But they didn't actually burn! Then, her paws and legs turned into molten dripping lava!!! At the corners of her mouth, grew two tiny, but sharp fangs!
