(I am so sorry that this chapter took so long to make! I had a bunch of writers block...)

Your POV

It has been an entire year since my sister first became Ginormica. And 49 weeks since me and Susan started writing to each other. Susan, Bob, Link, and Dr. C visit us from time to time, however, things at the base are very busy. In the past year, crazy stuff has been happening; mainly, four aliens are now living in Area 50 something. Their names were Coverton, Squeep, Stabi, and Vornicarn. Three of them are aliens who are actually friendly, much unlike Galaxar. Galaxar is the alien who took Susan's quantonium in Modesto. Coverton is the bad guy! How do I know this? Because he tried to take Susan's quantonium for himself! And he's still there! Plus, he causes all kinds of trouble at Area 50 something! He has gained the trust of the president, so unless there can be found proof that Coverton is bad, that bully is here to stay. What are me and Volcano doing these days? Mostly school, and training; and we are training for our next monstrous adventure. Me and Volcano have practiced and memorized moves that we made up together. Such as the following: the "grapple hook spin", the "kick line pirouette", the "head spinner", and the ever so dangerous "lava + lighting". The Grapple hook spin is required a grappling hook to work, of course. This is how we do the trick; I grab Volcano with one hand, and activate the grappling hook with the other. I make sure the hook is secured tight to a structure, then, I accelerate and leap into the air. The string sends us spinning in a big semicircle. It's very useful for making sharp turns quickly. The "kick line pirouette" requires a bit more skill to perfect. The way we do it is, we get up to high speed, then, we leap at the enemy. We make sure that we are turning as we leap. Then, we kick as we face towards the enemy. The point of this, is to be moving fast enough so we don't get caught by the enemy, and the spinning allows us the kick more and damage the enemy. The head spinner is slightly tougher, and it is only to be used on robots. Me and Volcano take a long rope, with Volcano holding one end and me holding the other. I skate, accelerate, and leap up to the robot, while Volcano holds the other end of the line. Volcano heats up the line except for the piece of rope that I'm holding. I skate on the side of the robot and round and round I go! All the while, I pull the line with me, it goes around and around, tightening the robots neck and melting it. As I keep going, I go faster and faster, until I only have enough rope for one more spin. I leap up and kick the robot in the neck, by now the neck is melted just enough to pry off the neck. And done correctly, the head flies off its shoulders. The point of spinning is the not only get the rope around, but to confuse the enemy. Now, the "lava + lightning" is the mostly dangerous move of all. It involves Volcano's power of controlling lava, and the defence mechanism in my sneaker skates. We only use this move if it's absolutely necessary, because if too close, it can be painful. First, Volcano makes a small river of lava around the thing or person or people that needs protection; or a villain that needs to be trapped. Then, I double tap my ankle on my sneaker skates, which activates the defence mechanism in my shoes. I attach a cord from my shoes to the lava, then I quickly detach from the cord. The electricity from my sneakers electrifies the air over the lava, almost like a forcefield. It gives a big zap to anyone who tries to cross the lava. It doesn't kill them, it just keeps them away.

Anyway, I came outside with my dog, Volcano to go relax outside. The sun was just rising over the horizon; bringing with it shades of oranges, yellows, and pinks. Me and Volcano took a deep breath and breathed in the cool, fresh morning air. Today was Saturday, no school, so we were taking in the freedom of the morning. Knowing that when mom and dad woke up, they'd be making us do our Saturday chores. But for now, this was our time, no school, no chores; just us, the sun, and the morning. However, we quickly grew bored of just sitting around. Volcano just stared at me and said, "I'm bored," I nodded in agreement, "Me too," I said. So we decided to go back inside and look for something to do, we passed the kitchen, and I glared at a certain piece of paper on the fridge. It was the big list of Saturday chores, mom and dad must have stuck it on the fridge. It read: "Chores that must be done today: sweep the wood floors, mop the wood floors, make breakfast, wash the breakfast dishes, take out the trash, clean the counters, vacume the carpeted floors, and wash the windows. More chores may follow, how many chores for you depend on how many you get done." Me and Volcano groaned, "The Saturday chores are already laid out, and mom is saying that there are going to be more?!" I whispered angrily so as not to wake up anyone. Then, Volcano had an idea, "Wait, the paper says that how many extra chores we have to do depends on how many of these chores we complete, right?" Volcano said, I nodded and said, "Yeah, where are you going with this?" I asked. Volcano smirked and said, "I'm saying that we do as many of these chores as we can! That way, the extra chores will be the only ones to do!" "That's a great idea, girl!" I said as we high fived each other. "Okay," I said as we began to strategize, "Since you can't safely touch water, I'll do the breakfast dishes, mop the floors, and wash the windows, and wipe the counters. While you handle cooking breakfast, taking out the trash, vacuming, and sweeping the floor." I said, "Sounds like a plan!" Volcano agreed. So I wiped the counters while Volcano swept the floor. Then Volcano took out the trash, while I mopped the floors. Then, I washed the windows while Volcano cooked breakfast by using her fire powers to heat up the trying pan since she didn't know how to use the stove or oven yet. We ate our breakfast and finished eating just as everyone came out. As everyone else ate breakfast, Volcano vacumed the carpeted floors while I washed the breakfast dishes. As soon as we finished, mom came up to us and said, "Girls, you did a wonderful job! Breakfast was delicious! And I don't think I've ever seen the house this clean! If you all had plans, you go on ahead with them! If we have anything else to do, I'll have my other three daughters help. You two have done plenty for today," Me and Volcano jumped up and down with excitement, I said, "Thanks mom!" I tapped my ankles and out popped my skates. Me and Volcano immediately dashed for the streets. There was this old building at the edge of the city; no one came there anymore except for me and Volcano. It was the perfect spot to just get away from it all. I ran swiftly down the street, using my wheels for propulsion, with Volcano running close behind. We ran up the stairs, the many flights of stairs. When we finally got to the top, we were exhausted. We sat down close to the edge, but not too close. We could see the Golden Gate Bridge over hanging the river just to the right of the building that we were on. The people finally managed to fix the bridge after it was destroyed by the giant alien robot that chased Susan through this very city. We laid down and relaxed in the fresh air and sunshine. Everything was calm, everything was quiet. Until, we heard a rumble, we felt the building shake. We immediately sat up and we looked around, everything was shaking. We stood up, but we shook so much that we almost fell right over. We tried to rebalance ourselves as we headed for the staircase. Suddenly, I heard a loud "CR-ACK!" I looked down and gasped; there was a huge crack in the building. "CR-ACK!" Another one! Our part of the building started to rumble and road. Then, we saw a large crack, it separated our slice of building from the rest of the building. Me and Volcano fell down, then we felt like we were moving...we were moving; or rather, the building piece was moving. It was sliding off of the building!
